• Diagnostic Gateway: Software runs on a dedicated Mac, and provides tools to triage computers via Netboot, and records test results as log files.

• Gateway Manager: an App to remotely configure and manage the Diagnostic Gateway server as well as accesses diagnostic logs.

• A very fast, EFI-based, client-side triage diagnostic tool that checks both hardware and software components.

• Designed to run within 1-2 minutes.

• Minimal working hardware needed.

• Running in EFI eliminates any possible OS issues causing (or masking) symptoms.

• Allows a tech to make a quick change (i.e. swap ram) and test again without a lot of downtime.

8. When MRI completes its checks, the icons display badges are color-coded to indicate status (pass, fail, caution), as shown in the MacBook example below. See the section titled ‘Interpreting MRI Results’ for a description of how to interpret the color-coded badges.
