THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALLFURNISH AND INSTALL ALL ITEMS TO PROVIDE A COMPLETE ELECTRICALINSTALLATION WITH ALL EQUIPMENT IN PROPER WORKING ORDER.
1. THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT, CURRENT EDITION,PUBLISHED IN STANDARD FORM BY THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OFARCHITECTS SHALL BE PART OF THIS CONTRACT.
31. THE FIRE ALARM CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE SHOP DRAWINGS, PERMIT(S)AND PAY ALL FEES ASSOCIATED WITH HIS WORK.
7. BIDDERS SHALL VISIT THE SITE AND FAMILIARIZE THEMSELVES WITH ALLCONDITIONS SURROUNDING THE WORK. IN SOME AREAS, EXISTING PLANSARE NON-EXISTENT OR VAGUE. IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THEBIDDERS TO VISIT THE SITE OF THE WORK AND ACQUAINT THEMSELVES WITHALL AVAILABLE INFORMATION REGARDING THE LOCATION OF ALL EXISTINGFACILITIES. FAILURE OF THE BIDDERS TO SO INFORM THEMSELVES OFEXISTING CONDITIONS AND TO INCLUDE IN THEIR PROPOSALS A SUMSUFFICIENT TO COVER SAME WILL NOT ENTITLE THEM TO AN EXTRA.
4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REFERRED TO THE ARCHITECTURAL, STRUCTURALAND MECHANICAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. SUCH PLANS ANDSPECIFICATIONS ARE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. VERIFY ALL MECHANICALREQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
8. SHOULD ELECTRICAL WORK BE INSTALLED WHICH INTERFERES WITHCLEARANCES REQUIRED FOR GENERAL CONSTRUCTION OR WORK WITHOTHER TRADES, SUCH WORK SHALL BE CORRECTED AT NO ADDITIONAL COSTTO THE OWNER.
13. UPON COMPLETION OF THE WORK, THIS CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALLRUBBISH CAUSED BY HIS WORK AND SHALL THOROUGHLY CLEAN ALLELECTRIC EQUIPMENT.
15. ALL WORK SHALL BE GUARANTEED FREE FROM DEFECTS FOR A PERIOD OFONE YEAR FROM DATE OF CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
12. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE TO SEAL PENETRATIONS IN RATEDWALLS OR FLOORS WITH LISTED SMOKE/FIRE RATED ASSEMBLIES.
16. MOTOR STARTERS AND CONTROLS FURNISHED BY THE MECHANICALCONTRACTOR SHALL BE INSTALLED BY THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR. ALLCONTROL WIRING OF MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS EQUIPMENT SHALLINSTALLED AND TERMINATED BY THE MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR. THE E.C.SHALL PROVIDE POWER SUPPLY WIRING.
6. DO NOT SCALE THE ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS. REFER TO ARCHITECTURALPLANS AND ELEVATIONS FOR EXACT LOCATION OF ALL EQUIPMENT, CONFIRMWITH OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE.
2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE A LICENSED MASTER ELECTRICIAN, ANDSHALL SUPERVISE THE ENTIRE INSTALLATION TO BE PERFORMED IN A'NEAT AND WORKMANLIKE' MANNER, PLUMB AND LEVEL, COORDINATEDWITH ALL OTHER TRADES, IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2008 EDITION OF THENFPA 70 NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODE, THE 2009 NFPA 70E STANDARD FORELECTRICAL SAFETY IN THE WORK PLACE, FLORIDA BUILDING CODE 2010EDITION, FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION CODE 2010 EDITION, POWER UTILITYAND INSPECTION AUTHORITY.
17. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE DISCONNECT SWITCHES, EXCEPT WHENFACTORY INSTALLED.
11. EQUIPMENT SHALL BE INSTALLED ABOVE THE BASE FLOOD ELEVATION.SERVICE DISCONNECT(S) AND BREAKERS USED AS SWITCHES ABOVE 6'-7"SHALL BE ACCESSIBLE FROM FLOOR OR WORKING PLATFORM 30" WIDTH, 36"DEPTH WORK SPACE IN FRONT OF EQUIPMENT.
18. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE TEMPORARY POWER FORCONSTRUCTION WITH GFCI PROTECTION.
14. PROVIDE AUTOCAD COMPATIBLE AS-BUILT DRAWINGS AT COMPLETION OFPROJECT.
3. THE 'CONTRACTOR' IN THESE SPECIFICATIONS SHALL REFER TO THEELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR, UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
