    Demarcation of Site

    The whole area on which

    construction to be done is

marked so as to identify theconstruction zone.

    Excavation

    Excavation was carried out both

    manually as well as mechanically.

    Excavation is carried out providing

adequate side slopes and dressing of

    excavation bottom.

    Adequate precautions are taken to

see that the excavation operations do

    not damage the adjoining structures

    Reinforcement

Steel reinforcements are used, generally, in the form of bars ofcircular cross section in concrete

structure. For general house constructions, barsof diameter 6 to 20mm are used.

Cold-worked steel high strengthdeformed bars start from 8mmdiameter.

    Plastering

Plaster protects structure fromtemperature variations; externalattacks of sulphates, chlorides,

etc.Plaster also provides smooth &aesthetic surface on RCC &

Brickwork surface. The proportion of mortar used atsite for ceiling coat is 1:4and
