CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCEAt Lindrick Eco Build we offer our clients a range of construction methods when building their new home.

Our specialisation is the build of energy efficient eco homes using what is now described as modern

methods of manufacturing or modular construction. What does this mean? It simply means that we take

your project from design stage and part build your home in a controlled factory environment and then

utilising our own in-house trades people we finish your high-quality home on site.

We will work with you to decide on the best build

method for your particular design or site and build

you an ‘A’ rated energy efficient eco home.

Once the construction method is complete, we will

ask you to visit us at our showroom in Worksop

where we will complete the final internal and external

details to meet your final specification.

We have our own in-house joinery, plumbing,

heating, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and assembly

departments where we will work with you to finalise

your specific requirements and decide on an agreed

final scope of supply.

From the moment we begin building your home we

cover every aspect of your project. We have full public

liability and construction insurance and we will

generally build with a JCT or NEC contract giving you

full protection and confidence that you will have a

trouble free experience.

Lindrick Eco Build operate as principle contractor and

assume the responsibility of CDM design and always

have a dedicated project manager working with you

for the duration of the project.

Lindrick Eco Build are a member of the Considerate

Constructor scheme and we believe that this focus

above and beyond the statutory requirements is an

important part of our sustainability strategy.

METHODS OF CONSTRUCTION

MODULAR CLOSED CELLTIMBER FRAME...

With timber frame a fast build time is possible, as well as

delivering higher levels of thermal insulation. High

performance can be achieved at a sensible budget.

Timber frame products are becoming more popular and

the market is growing fast and currently consists of about

75% of all self builds.

Advanced timber frame builds now exist where we pre-fit

electrical cabling and plumbing piping in controlled

conditions so mechanical and electrical fitting are taken

care of in the factory saving on site time and leaving less

reliance on external trades. Quality controls make the

difference here as well as project time saving of up to a

third against traditional build methods.

LIGHT GAUGE STEELFRAME...

LGS is our newest build method and is made of galvanized

steel C sections of variable thicknesses. It is precise,

recyclable (generally 50% of material content is recycled),

non-combustible and resistant to rot, mold, and mildew.

Steel is also resistant to insect damage. Overall it is a

versatile and a quick build method.

Assembling this type of system on site is more

straightforward than working with less predictable

building materials and the accuracy of the materials

means that there are few, if any, mistakes made on site

during this quick method of assembly.

LGS is manufactured and panelised off-site, which

decreases build time on-site.

Each house is individually designed in our factory and the

cut and assembled walls, floors and roofs are precisely

folded and punched in virtually any way the client requires.

MODULAR STRUCTURALINSULATED PANELS (SIPS)...

SIPS are manufactured under factory-controlled

conditions. This offsite fabrication means that your

weatherproof building shell can be complete just a few

weeks after the ground works are ready to receive them.

SIPs, through their strength and ease of connection, offer

the designer versatility allowing possibilities beyond the

conventional, such as sloping roof panels creating an

open space that when utilised, properly maximises any

building plot and making vaulted areas accessible to most

designs. Additionally, great air tightness levels come as a

matter of course.

The result is a building system that is extremely strong,

energy efficient and cost effective. Building with SIPs will

save you time, money and labour.

GROUNDWORKS ANDDRAINAGE...

When building your eco home consideration of the

foundation design is important. Low thermal values and

the eradication of cold bridges at the meet points

between the foundation are one of the key things to

consider.

Every site is different and we will design your foundation

to work with your specification but generally for eco

homes we build a passive foundation with a U-value as

low as 0.10W/m2K and this can be achieved using a strip,

slab, insulated slab or hybrid to reach the desired standard.

Additionally as more off site construction takes place we

are able to offer, block, screw and off-site pre-cast systems.

We also carry out ground investigation, Site Clearance,

Demolition, Site Services, Landscaping, Substructure and

Ground Stabilisation, Embedded Retaining Walls, Flood

Defenses, Crib walls, Gabions and Other Gravity Retaining

Walls, Pad, Pile and Raft foundation.

SUPPLY CHAIN & PARTNERSAt Lindrick Eco Build we have a number of in-house manufacturing facilities. As a producer we are able

to offer manufactured products to a high quality. Where we have supply chain partners for those items

we don’t make ourselves all bought in items are strictly quality controlled by our project team.

SPECIALIST JOINERYLindrick provide a range of joinery services. We produce

and install a range of building products through our own

skilled joinery team. If you can think of it in timber we can

probably make it!

KITCHENSOur kitchen showroom showcases our wide range of

possibilities available for your kitchen. Our designer will

work with you to bring your dreams to reality and on site

you can choose from a wide range of high quality

appliances, taps, doors, tiles, and kitchen choices all under

one roof.

BATHROOMSLike our kitchen section we have a fully fitted bathroom

showroom where you can view a wide range of different

bathroom choices including showers, baths, enclosures,

tiles and taps. Bathrooms built to your standard and with

the names you know and trust.

WINDOWS & DOORSLindrick manufacture their own timber windows and also

have a wide range of suppliers of not only timber but

aluminium and PVCu windows to your specific project.

Today virtually all our systems are to passive or near

passive standards.

FABRICATIONAs architects choose a wide range of materials for their

clients we have a large fabrication shop which is able to

offer bespoke steel and aluminium structure bringing your

concepts to life.

ELECTRICALAll electrical design and installation is carried out by our

very experienced electrical team. This team specify and

install all electrical systems as well as renewable

technologies such as solar, heat pumps, MVHR and smart

control systems.

PLUMBING & HEATINGMost of our builds will use our heating division and working

with the electrical team will deliver conventional heating

systems as well as new technologies such as solar thermal,

heat pumps, unvented cylinders and air conditioning
