CPS Budget Survey

• New strategy to gain stakeholder input on priorities to support student achievement as part of the budget process

• Launched February 14 at 10 a.m. and closed March 2

• More than 15,000 parent, staff and community stakeholders received an individual survey evite

• Other stakeholders invited via media, partners’ listserves

Survey Participation

• 4,096 completed surveys – 1,901 employees – 1,839 parents – 320 community – 25 students – 11 did not identify group affiliation

• Response rates on par with those of other districts

• Survey analysis to be completed by end of March

– Online • Via the district Website at www.cps-k12.org • At designated school computers • At the CPS Education Center at the Customer

Help Center and Human Resources Computers • At computers at branches of the Public Library of

Cincinnati and Hamilton County – Paper copies were available by calling

513.363.0020 – Translated into Spanish, French and Arabic
