1. Taking a Look
The Vehicle Dock, with Port Replicator feature, mounts your V100 securely in a vehicle.
Top and Bottom
Port Replicator
1 Studs attach and secure to the pedestal. 2 For external antenna connection (optional). 3 For connecting a video device with BNC interface, such as a CCD Camera.

2. Mounting the Vehicle Dock
Mounting the Vehicle Dock in a vehicle should be performed by qualified technicians.
The mechanical diagrams provide dimensions (in mm) for installation to the vehicle pedestal.
The above diagram shows the dimensions for the Dock Studs/Bolts. The dimensions of the Pedestal Studs/Bolts must match accordingly.

3. Docking and Undocking
Docking
1. Make sure that the Vehicle Dock drivers have been installed. (See Chapter 6 of V100 User’s Manual for installation instructions.)
2. Connect the cables of the peripheral devices to the corresponding connectors on the Vehicle Dock. (Refer to page 2.)
3. Connect one end of the Car Adapter to the Vehicle Dock and the other end to the cigarette lighter in the vehicle.
4. Slide open the docking connector cover on the bottom of V100.
5. By aligning V100 with the guide pins on the Vehicle Dock (refer to the first figure on page 2), carefully plug the docking connector of V100 to the connector on the Vehicle Dock.

6. Push down the lever to secure V100 on the dock. Then, turn the lock to the locked position with the key.
CAUTION: The Vehicle Dock must be locked with the key for the system to operate safely and properly. 7. Start up V100.
When the Car Adapter is plugged into the cigarette lighter, power will be supplied from the vehicle to V100, with the battery being charged at the same time.

Undocking
Follow this procedure to undock V100:
1. Turn the lock to the unlocked position with the key.
2. Pull up the latch to release V100.
3. Lift V100 away from the Vehicle Dock.
