A sole QA and accrediting body in Brunei Darussalam.

The Secretariat under the Ministry of Education

to accredit programmes, qualifications and HE providers.

to evaluate and review the status and quality of individual qualifications awarded by local or overseas HEIs. to develop standards and criteria and all other relevant instruments as national references.

to continuously monitor HEIs and the programmes they offer - compliance with the standard and criteria set forth by the BDNAC.

to oversee and monitor any activities related to education exhibition in Brunei Darussalam.

to provide reliable information on accreditation status of institutions and programmes to stakeholders.

to implement the Brunei Darussalam Qualifications Framework (BDQF) as a basis for QA of HE & as a reference point for criteria and standards for national qualifications.
