Brown Background Info:
-Providence, Rhode Island -Founded in 1764 and is
the 7th oldest college in the U.S. (Harvard = #1 !)
-2010 Princeton review named Brown the #1 College for Happiest students
-1st college to accept students from all religious affiliations
-235 buildings over 143 acres of land

Student Life
-Population of Providence is around 176,000-Many areas where students can meet up with each other; student lounges, spacious decks to frolic around, spacious classrooms and tons of labs/studios open to students-3a.m. a booklet filled with activities and functions happening all over the campus

-Community directors supervise and guide for peer counselors
-Upper classmen live in singles or suites
-Residence halls= 48 buildings over 1.6 million sq. feet
BUT you have to be a student that strives to work to the best of his or her ability; taking classes to challenge him or herself, dedicating hours to completing all work, and maintaining to be a notable citizen to society .
