in Fort Lauderdale has been a respected leader in healthcare since its founding in 1938. As the largest hospital of the Broward Health system, Broward Health MedicalCenter has 716 beds and is home to virtually every medical specialty, including cardiology, maternity, neonatology, pediatrics and comprehensive stroke care. Additional services include cancer care, lung transplant, orthopedics, palliative care, robotics, sickle cell, surgical weight loss, a Level I trauma center and an on-site wellness center.

Broward Health Northin Deerfield Beach is an award-winning, 409-bed hospital featuring state-of-the-art technology and compassionate care. The hospital features a new emergency department with 53 private rooms, three dedicated trauma bays and an adult Level II trauma center. Specialty services include an inpatient rehabilitation center, orthopedics and sports medicine, robotic surgery, spine and cardiac care, comprehensive stroke care and a memory disorder center.

Broward Health Imperial Pointin Fort Lauderdale is a 204-bed hospital dedicated to providing first-class care to the community. With a focus on personalized care and attention, the hospital offers many specialties, including a behavioral health unit, cardiology services, interventional oncology, men’s health, primary stroke care, senior care, speech and dysphagia therapy, surgical weight loss, as well as robotic surgery.

Broward Health Coral Springsis a 250-bed community hospital providing comprehensive, medical and surgical services since 1987. Located in the heart of Coral Springs, the hospital features more than 50 medical specialties and is a leader in addressing the healthcare needs of residents in northwest Broward County. Services include robotic surgery, maternity and women’s services, primary stroke care, neonatal intensive care, pediatrics, including children’s emergency services, a colorectal center, a sleep disorder center, surgical weight loss, as well as wound care.

Salah Foundation Children’s Hospitalis located on the campuses of both Broward Health Medical Center and Broward Health Coral Springs, providing family-centered care for newborns, infants, children and youth. The hospital features a dedicated emergency department and specially trained pediatricians and pediatric nurses dedicated to serving the individual needs of children and their families.

Our ServicesCARDIAC CARE Broward Health offers comprehensive cardiac care throughout the system, including Mitraclip, cardiac catheterizations, a chest pain center, hybrid operating rooms, biplane suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and wellness and prevention programs. Additionally, Broward Health Medical Center is the first hospital in Broward County to offer the WATCHMAN Implant, a permanent implant designed to close the left atrial appendage in the heart in an effort to reduce the risk of stroke.

COMPREHENSIVE CANCER CENTERS The Comprehensive Cancer Centers at Broward Health Medical Center and Broward Health North offer access to a wide array of clinical trials, research and leading cancer specialists, as well as current diagnostic and treatment methods. Support services are available for patients and families.

EMERGENCY AND URGENT CARE All four Broward Health hospitals offer 24-hour emergency departments, staffed by multidisciplinary teams of caregivers prepared to provide timely and complete care.

With locations in Plantation, Coral Springs and Weston, Broward Health’s urgent care centers provide convenient care for minor injuries and illnesses, as well as vision testing, immunizations and physicals.

TRAUMA CENTERS There are only 24 trauma centers across Florida, and Broward Health has three, including one each at Broward Health Medical Center, Broward Health North and Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital at Broward Health Medical Center.

The Level I trauma center at Broward Health Medical Center offers the highest level of care for the most severe, life-threatening injuries in adults and children. The trauma center at the children’s hospital is a designated Level I pediatric trauma center, one of only two in Broward County. Broward Health’s trauma centers work closely with local Emergency Medical Services, providing seamless care and utilizing the MEDEVAC helicopter to aid seriously injured patients from remote areas.

INTERNATIONAL HEALTHCARE With a comprehensive healthcare network and nearly 1,700 affiliated physicians, Broward Health provides international patients and their families with access to high-quality treatment and personalized, compassionate care. Services range from travel assistance to multilingual translation and coordination of care.

ORTHOPEDIC SERVICES AND SPORTS MEDICINE As a leading provider of orthopedic services, Broward Health performs more joint replacements than any other hospital system in Broward County. Broward Health North is the first hospital in Broward County to be Joint Commission-certified in hip and knee replacements.

NEUROLOGICAL SERVICES Broward Health offers high-quality care for the treatment of stroke, brain or spine injuries and other neurological disorders. Rapid response teams comprised of neurologists, neurosurgeons and skilled nurses provide comprehensive, individualized medical care, and are specially trained in treating diseases and disorders of the nervous system.

ROBOTIC SURGERY Minimally invasive robotic surgery is available at all four Broward Health hospitals. Specializing in bariatric, colorectal, general, gynecological and urological surgery, the advanced technology offers surgeons greater precision, flexibility and control. Benefits for patients may include fewer complications, less pain and scarring and shorter recovery time.

WOMEN’S AND MATERNITY SERVICES High-quality, compassionate care is offered for women of all ages, at every life stage. Comprehensive services offered throughout the system include gynecological services, obstetrics, digital mammograms, clinical breast exams, health and wellness classes and more.

Expectant mothers and their families can enjoy private, modern accommodations at Broward Health Medical Center and Broward Health Coral Springs, including newly renovated neonatal intensive care units providing a higher level of care for premature and critically ill infants. Both hospitals provide highly specialized care to assist families every step of the way during the birthing process and beyond.

BROWARD HEALTH PHYSICIAN GROUP is a multi-specialty consortium with more than 120 employed physicians that provides quality healthcare to the residents of Broward County and its surrounding areas.

CHILDREN’S DIAGNOSTIC & TREATMENT CENTER is a nationally recognized Patient Care Medical Home providing specialized and primary medical care, an onsite pediatric dental clinic, case management, and social and support services to more than 12,000 children and adolescents with special healthcare needs.

BROWARD HEALTH GRADUATE MEDICAL EDUCATION provides a clinical learning environment designed to provide residents and fellows with the knowledge, skills and values they need to provide competent and compassionate patient care.

BROWARD HEALTH FOUNDATION is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health of our community by providing resources to promote, support and enhance the programs and initiatives of Broward Health.

BROWARD HEALTH COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES is a network of community health centers that serve as a medical home for Broward County residents. Services include care coordination, senior-focused classes, and primary care for the homeless, HIV-positive and local indigent population.
