Multiple Cryopump Configurations

The On-Board Splitter Box permits the connection of up to three On-Board Cry-opumps or Waterpumps to one 9600 Compressor as shown in <pdf_link>Figure 1-3.The Network Terminal provides control of up to 20 pumps from a single point andprovides an On-Board System interface to the customer host computer.

The Cryo-Torr Interface permits the connection of up to three Cryo-Torr Cryopumpsto one 9600 Compressor as shown in Figure 1-4.

Table 2-1 provides maximum flexline lengths and diameters for various Cryopumpand Compressor configurations.

NOTE: Be sure to follow the guidelines in Table 2-1 to avoid system performance issues.

NOTE: Table 2-1 can only be used for compressor applications that do not use a heliummanifold. This table must not be used when compressors are connected to a heliummanifold. Contact CTI-CRYOGENICS engineering for proper flexline configura-tion

9600 Remote Cable

The 9600 Remote cable connects to the remote connector on the 9600 Compressor andthe Cryo-Torr Interface as shown in Figure 4-6. The cable provides the signal to turnthe compressor ON or OFF when the customer’s vacuum system sends the appropri-ate signal.
