“Being a student in the MSc of Finance at CATÓLICA-LISBON has enabled me to grow and further comprehend this area of mathematics

applied to reality. By taking classes such as Advanced Corporate Finance, Financial Investments and Risk Management, I have been able

to learn from leaders in the field and understand the different areas that lie under this same umbrella. In addition, working with students

from so many backgrounds and nationalities has provided me with a feeling of unity, a feeling that you can build something together

by exploring your differences rather than your similarities.

Moreover, by closely working with companies in several activities allowed me to have the hands-on experience of applying in-class

concepts and critical thinking to relevant issues of the daily corporate life. Last but not least, being a representative of the Finance Major

and also a founding member of the Católica Finance Club granted me the experience to closely work with professors, staff and other

students aiming for the same common goal: Success.”

Teresa Lobato (Portuguese)

“Being part of the Major in finance program at CATÓLICA-LISBON has enabled me to broaden my academic background while being

able to personalize my own course selection according to my future career prospects, besides having the privilege of studying

with motivated students and taught by leading professionals with impressive backgrounds.

Furthermore, its well structured activities outside class jumped start my career by having the right support to found the Católica Finance

Club with other colleagues, to develop soft skills at the Leadership Lab workshops, to participate on field trips to New York and London,

to be inspired in conferences by alumni and to take part in the double degree program - the only one of its kind in Portugal.”

Alberto Ippolito Ferreira (Venezuelan)
