The conference will provide forum for scientists and engineers to share their experiences in this field. ABOUT THE INSTITUTE The past century has been host to many technological advancements  resulting in gradual progression towards the betterment of society. Space science as such has been a vital force behind this advancement. In this back drop the Institute of Space Technology (IST) came into existence 2002. IST aims at providing an amicable environment for studies and research. IST is federally chartered degree awarding Institute, offering Baccalaureate and Graduate programs in Aerospace, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and engineering and Space Science. SCOPE OF CONFERENCE The conference provides an International forum for professional from academia, industries and other research institutions to discuss their problems and share their achievements in order to improve Vibration problems in Mechanical systems and Structures. CALL FOR PAPERS Participants wishing to present paper(s) are invited to send abstract(s) of 250-400 words in English Word Format (not PDF), including title, authors’ affiliation, e -mail and mailing address, along with brief resume and Registration Form. Technical Committee will decide on the mode of presentation (Oral or Poster); however, authors should indicate their preference. Accepted abstracts will be printed in the Abstract Book and issued to all attendees at the conference. Fee covers refreshments, meals, and proceedings of the conference. Please send Registration Fee, by a Bank Draft/Pay Order in favor of Institute of Space Technology or through online banking. Registration Forms & Account Numbers may be downloaded from IST website. Student participants should enclose letter of reference from their Professor or Institute. Conference Secretariat must be informed of cancellations of participation in writing before July 31, 2014 otherwise, no refund will be made.

Hotel accommodation is available in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The Organizing Committee will be pleased to make necessary arrangements of choice.

ACCOMPANYING PERSONS/SPOUSESFor accompanying persons/spouses, attractive social programs with informal get-togethers and guided tour(s) of Islamabad and nearby areas will be organized.

VENUE

Conference will be held in Islamabad, the beautiful capital of Pakistan at Institute of Space Technology. IST is located at approximately 20 minutes drive from Islamabad International Airport. The nearby areas are rich in art, tradition and history, i.e. Margalla Hills, Rawal Lake, Saidpur Village, Faisal Mosque ,ancient city of Taxila, historic Buddhist sites, Gurdwara Panja Sahib and the famous Hill Station of Murree also provide opportunity for sight-seeing during and after the conference.
