Program documentation in comic book like graphic panels that portray what the program

will look like. It may include dialogue, narration, and

camera direction.

The storyboarding process, in the form it is known today, was developed at the Walt Disney Studio during the early 1930s, after several years of similar processes being in use at Walt Disney and other animation studios.

A two column script commonly used for 30 & 60 second ads. The video cues are in the left

column preceded by a shot description (WS,MS,TS). The

audio cues are in the right column where what will be said on camera or as a voice over is

completely written out.

The copy that a broadcaster reads from on the air. Like an A/V script, the directors cues

are on the left of the page, while the copy that appears in

teleprompter and is read on air is on the right of the page.

D: In Oregon on Tuesday, a bill was passed to stop employers from requiring their employees to provide Facebook and other social media login information.

D: This bill also prohibits bosses from requiring employees to FRIEND or LIKE them and protects employees from punishment for refusal to do so.

D: Employers are not liable for information gathered if employee’s use employer’s equipment to access social media. This bill will go to the Senate.

M: We are all concerned for the victims and the families affected by the bombings at the Boston Marathon on Monday. Authorities are working diligently to bring swift justice to those responsible.

M: Currently, two suspects have been identified from surveillance videos of the area. However, no arrests have been made in connection with the bombings.

M: Sixty-three people remain in Boston hospitals as a result of injuries received during the bombings. Twelve are still critical at this time. Our JCCHS Y-club will be collecting monetary donations to send to the Boston Marathon Victims fund. See Mr. Prescott for more information.

Shot or Close Up. In an A/V script one of the primary shots (written as WS, MS,TS) should

precede each video cue.

In a news package script, the A-Roll refers to the audio portion

of the script (sound bites & voice track), the B-Roll refers

to the video portion of the script (cover video).
