Discarded Halloween Candy Drive to benefit the

Samaritan House - November 1st-9thIn addition, this Halloween the SCA is asking students to support the Samaritan Housewhich is a local shelter for domestic violence victims and the children of those victims. The candy will be donated to Samaritan House for children in need. For every pound

collected, Davidson Orthodontics will donate a toothbrush in honor of The Williams School to theSamaritan House. This gives students (and parents) an avenue for discarding unwanted and/orleftover candy and in doing so donating to a great cause. The SCA will be collecting candy betweenNovember 1st and November 9th.Dear TWS Band Students and Parents:

With November here, it is time to start thinking about concert dress for all of our performances.

Students should wear concert black and white (see below) for the Nov. 28th

    Holiday Concert and the

    7th/8

thGrade band field trip on Dec. 4

th. No band concert dress for Grandparents Day and Carol

Head of School, Mr. Bart Baldwin as a guest narrator. The concert, entitled, How the Grinch (almost)Stole the Concert, should be a lot of fun. Hope to see you there.

The Francophone and Hispanic two-day celebration, November 6th

    and 7th

, is meant to promote thecultures and languages of many countries around the world including Haiti where our sister school, Saint

Gabriel, is located. The theme chosen this year is Monuments and Statues. TWS will be celebrating this

event with delicious food in the cafeteria, books in the library, songs, DVDs, activities in the computer lab,

art, games, Teddys birthday, and others. Students will present a few of their research projects at assemblies

    this quarter.
