 Shawn Wargo - Technical Marketing Engineer

  Shawn has over 15 years of Networking & IT industry experience.

  Shawn has over 10 years of General & Platform IP Multicast experience.

  Shawn has been with Cisco Systems since 1999, and began within the 'LAN Switching' Technical Assistance Center (TAC), focused on supporting the Catalyst series Multi-Layer Switches.

  Shawn later became a Software QA (Test) Engineer for the (post-release Systems-Testing) Customer Operations Group (COG) - Financial Testing Lab (FTL) & Safe Harbor (SH) groups, working directly with dozens of Industry-leading financial & retail organizations.

  Shawn then moved from post-release Systems-Testing into pre-release Development-Testing as a senior Software QA (Test) Engineer, working directly with the latest Catalyst 6500 hardware & software (e.g. VS-S720-10GE & Virtual Switching System (VSS)).

  Shawn Wargo is currently a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME), within the Internet Systems Business Unit (ISBU), where he continues to support Catalyst 6500 customers by providing technical education & presentation on the latest hardware & software.
