COMPETITION OVERVIEW
In 2019, the final will be staged at the Kelsall Hill Horse Trials venue in Cheshire, prior to moving in 2020 to the hugely prestigious Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials in early September for an initial three year term.
CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL
For 2019, a minimum of eight regional finals will be staged from May to July, including in Scotland and Wales.
From 2020, this figure will rise to a minimum of twelve regional finals. Some regions may have more than one final based on the number of entries received.
REGIONAL FINALS
In addition to the above which form the basis of the sponsorship, there’s a UK network of BE80 classes that feed competitors into the regional finals.
Championship series sponsors have an option to select individual BE80 events for additional sponsorship support, if required.
LOCAL QUALIFYING CLASSES
What makes BE80 really stand out is the free coaching support that British Eventing’s Training and Education team provides via BE Accredited Coaches.
They are on hand at every BE80 class, Regional Final and the Championship, offering support to all competitors in the shape of cross country and show jumping course walks, help in the show jumping warm up and guidance and advice answering any questions riders may have.
