CORIAN® FIREPLACESThe fireplaces featured in this brochure are all made

from Corian®, a material we have used for over a

decade and which has been used in the highest quality

kitchens and bathrooms for over 40 years.

Corian® has many advantages over other fireplace

materials such as limestone and marble. While

Corian® has the smoothness and substance

associated with stone, it is non-porous and highly

durable, making it stain-resistant and easy to

maintain.

Because Corian® is non-porous and its colours run

through its entire thickness, its surface can be fully

restored with ordinary mild abrasive cleansers and a

scouring pad. Cigarette burns, for example, can be

easily removed in this way.

The 100 colours of Corian® allow for an almost

unlimited colour palette. You can choose from one of

our many natural finishes, ranging from light to dark,

or select from one of ten shades of white to perfectly

match your room interior. Alternatively, you can

create a splash of colour and select something from

our vibrant colour range. The full colour range is

shown on page 24.

Newdawn-E with Nocturne Corian® surround in style ‘A’

OUR FLAME TECHNOLOGYAt the heart of all our electric fires is a microchip controlled array of

LEDs which eliminates the need for the usual fans, ribbons and bulbs

used in many other electric fires. LEDs are very reliable and have an

average life expectancy of 100,000 hours and so don’t need replacing like

ordinary bulbs. They are also extremely energy efficient, operating the

flame effect for an average of 5 hours a day will cost less than £1 for the

whole year.

NEWDAWN-ENewdawn-E will change the way you view electric fires forever. It has a

3D flame effect that’s never previously been possible in such a slim fire.

It looks so impressive because of the way the flames emerge from within

the fuel bed and it appears to be recessed into the wall. In fact the total

effect is achieved within Newdawn-E’s very slim dimensions and the fire

is not recessed but simply surface mounted on the wall.

E-MOTIONE-Motion looks like a full depth fire but is in fact a very slim electric fire

insert. It has been designed to fit into a typical fire surround without

being recessed into the wall. It has a 3D flame effect developed from

the very successful Newdawn-E fire. The flames emerge from within the

fuel bed and appear to be burning in a ribbed fireback.

NEWDAWNNewdawn is a hole-in-the-wall radiant gas fire. The deep version is designed to

maximise the space of a full depth 16” fireplace opening. The surround is made from

Corian® and is available in two styles, the original and very contemporary

style A and the more traditional style B.

Gas Fire Inserts

RANGE OF GAS FIRE INSERTSAll our gas fires provide useful radiant heat

from the glow of the fire and can be used to

complement central heating. The Advantage,

Innovation and Maximiser are radiant fires and

have ceramic linings to increase their radiant

heat efficiency. Sensation is a convector fire and

has a heat exchanger which draws cool air in

and sends it back into the room as hot air.

Optimiser is specifically designed for a fireplace

opening that is not high enough to take a

standard fire. The Romance fire is designed to

be installed into a solid fuel tapered fireback.

The choice of fire will be determined by the size

of your fireplace opening. All our fires (except

18” Romance) are approved for use with a class

2 flue (128cm2 flue cross sectional area) and do

not normally require a room air vent. If you do

not have a chimney or flue the Sensation and

Maximiser Powerflue versions have an electric

fan system to safely expel the flue gases directly

to the outside.

C3 & D3 VERSIONSThe stainless steel frame and fire front is

available in two styles. The Advantage fire

(above) is shown with the C3 option which has a

control cover (lower bar) that clips onto the fire.

The D3 version (inset) has a control cover that

stands on the hearth. Both styles are available

with the Advantage, Innovation, Sensation and

Optimiser three sided frame fires.

C4 VERSIONThe Advantage, Innovation and Sensation fires

are available as C4 versions. These fires have a

stainless steel four sided frame and C style fire

front. The frame measures 517mm wide,

668mm high and 8mm deep.

CORIAN® SURROUND OPTIONYou can also specify the Advantage and

Innovation C4 versions with a Corian® surround

in any of the 100 colours. The Advantage fire is

shown here (left) with a Glacier White Corian®

surround. The surround measures 756mm wide,

x 908mm high and is available in 12mm or

70mm depths.

FIRE FRONTSShown above is a range of cast firefronts available for our gas fire inserts.Cast fire fronts are decorative but mustmeet the minimum requirements toensure that the gas burner has ade-quate air to function correctly. The con-trol cover air slots must total at least50cm2 and the bowed front must havea depth of 40-50mm to follow the frontshape of the fire. CONTROL OPTIONSThe remote control and high level touch control systems are pow-ered by six AA batteries. The pilot is lit automatically and the flamesetting is fully variable between high and low. Pressing the top buttonon the high level touch control turns the fire on and the same buttonturns it off again.

POWERFLUEVERSIONSSensation Powerflueversions have an op-tion of frame or wallswitch control. Dimen-sions for the optionwith frame switch con-trol are shown inbrackets.
