Section 1: Introduction This directory provides a list of Bright Advantage and Bright Advantage Plus Delta Dental Insurance Company (Delta Dental) network providers. To get detailed information about your healthcare coverage, please see your Evidence of Coverage. Delta Dental Benefits The network of providers listed in this directory have agreed to provide you, as a Bright Advantage or Bright Advantage Plus member, with your dental services. Bright Health has an agreement with Delta Dental to offer you dental services. Delta Dental offers a wide range of dental care through a network of dentists who contract through Delta Dental Insurance Company. You can also find a list of in-network dental providers online at BrightHealthPlan.com/Medicare. Get Started As a Bright Health member, you are automatically assigned an in-network Delta Dental dentist. You will receive notice of your dental assignment by mail. You will need to visit your assigned dentist to get covered dental benefits. If you would like to change your assigned dentist, you can do so at any time by calling Delta Dentals customer service at (800) 546-9658. Requests received by the 21st of the month will be effective the first business day of the following month. To make an appointment, simply call the dentists facility and identify yourself as Bright Health DeltaCare USA Program enrollee. Services provided by a specialist pre-approved by Delta Dental or emergency services are exceptions. Any other treatment is not covered under this dental program. Make sure you are covered If you want your dental care to be covered, you must get your dental care from an in-network Delta Dental dentist. Network Providers The in-network dental providers listed in this directory have agreed to provide you with your dental services.
Out-of-Network Providers In most cases, if you choose to get dental care from an out-of-network provider, you will pay for the full cost of the service. Neither Medicare, Delta Dental nor Bright Health will be responsible for the cost. If you have been going to an out-of-network provider, you will need to find an in-network provider in order for your dental costs to be covered. You can find a Delta Dental provider in this directory or online at BrightHealthPlan.com/Medicare. Emergency Care If you need emergency dental care, call your Delta Dental dentist or Delta Dentals customer service at (800) 546-9658, (TTY: 711) Monday-Friday 8am-5pm ET, (TTY: 711), Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm. Covered emergency care is limited to care needed to stabilize your condition and relieve your pain. If you get emergency dental care from a dentist who is not a Delta Dental network provider, your services will not be covered.
