Reward Payments for Great Teachers

• $425 million over the next four years - $1.25 billion for the initiative

• New Australian Teacher Performance Management Principles and Procedures

• Top 10% of teachers (approx 25,000 each year)

• Bonus of up to 10% of salary• First bonus payments in 2014 based on

2013 performance

• $480 million by 2018 for self-governing schools

• $54 million allocated to establish a new independent statutory agency, the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission, by 1 July 2102
