Making Multiple Pieced Triangle Squares

Making Single Pieced Triangle Squares

Making Two Pieced Triangle Squares

1. Place 2'' x 4'' rectangles right sides together.

2. On wrong side of rectangles draw one vertical line at 2" to create two squares. Draw one diagonal line in each square. Sew ¼'' from both sides of drawn lines. Cut on drawn lines.

3. Stack triangles in pairs. Press to darker triangle. Square to 1 ½".

1. Place pair of 1½" squares rights sides together. Draw diagonal line on wrong sides of square.

1. Place 2" squares rights sides together.

2. Draw diagonal line on wrong sides of square.

2. Sew on line. Trim G'' from one side. Press to darker triangle. Square to 1½".

Tire/Tractor Tractor/Grass

3. Sew ¼" on both sides of line. Press to darker triangle. Square to 1½".

Making Fence

1. Cut 1½'' x 15'' Fence into Four 3½'' strips.

2. Sew 1½'' x 11'' Sky/Fence/Sky strips together. Press seams towards Fence.

4. Sew Fence together. Press Seams toward Fence.

3. Cut into three 2½'' strips and two 1½" strips.

5. Add 2½" x 12½" Grass to Fence. Set Aside.

Making Tractor

1. Draw Diagonal line on ONE 1½" Square.

2. Place Right sides together to corner of 2½" Tractor Square.

4. Lay out Tractor pieces. Use Cardboard and Push pins to help if needed.

3. Sew on line. Trim ¼" and press toward Tractor.

5. Sew in sections. Start with front of tractor. Check pieces while sewing.

6. Sew remaining section. Sew vertical edges. Finish with center strips.

7. Stay Stitch bias tape to top of tractor. Sew Tractor to Grass.

8. Add embellishment.
