Breedon Watertight provides a fast track solution over traditional methods of construction such as external membranes or cavity drainage. With this type of concrete, water is prevented from fl owing into or from a structure using the full scope of admixture driven solutions within the concrete.

Applications:

Watertight can be used where a signifi cant hydraulic gradient is found. It is available in concrete grades suitable for service reservoirs, water treatment structures, car parks, domestic basements, lift shaft bases and swimming pools.

The concrete may be tailored for each particular challenge of your contract and conforms to BS8102; BSEN 206-1; BS8500-1 and 2.

The Watertight range is intended to be placed by conventional skip, pump or direct placement methods. Full compaction will be achieved by the correct application of standard vibrating equipment. The use of a curing membrane is still required when applicable and curing should begin immediately after the concrete has been placed and fi nished.

Curing is essential and excessive drying rates must be avoided within the fi rst 24 hours.
