Criminal law dealing with wrongs against a person, property, or society○ Practicing without a license○ Misuse of narcotics○ Theft○ Murder
Civil law: deals with legal relationships between people and protection of a persons’ rights○ Contracts○ Torts: A wrongful act that does not involve a contract
Crimes Malpractice: providing improper or
unprofessional treatment or careLiability insurance: protection providers can
