‘The Groove Diggerz have rushed to the top this year with their hugely successful labels “Breakin Even” and “Even Flow’ theirsound is unmatched by any other producer on the scene’

Z Audio Distribution

Working constantly on his studio for a couple of years, lead him to sign his first remix for Fat! Records (BPhreak - ChunkStyle) and a couple of digital singles on the north American label Slanted House, in march 2006 he started the label SangoMusic, and a couple of months later MOB Record released his debut vinyl single (Neztic - Kickin Down). In June 2006,Manuel Neztic was signed by the Swedish label Sound Of Habib, Home of Dan F, Stisch and Johan Soh.

Jay is a fresh face to the Breaks scene and his sound is all about the FUNK! In 2004 he was discovered by Re:connect andMenu Music. (Both labels offer a slightly different take on Jay hence the two DJ names, but all is served with a 'party get upand shake' feel.) So far Jay has released a series of successful tracks of which all have had quality reactions. The PlumpsDJ's commissioned 'It's Groovey' for the Mix Mag mix in 2005. Jay Cunning and Atomic Hooligan commissioned 'Disco

Donkey' and Im Crazy your Crazy' for The Beatz & Bobz 005 on Functional. 'Rhythmical' has had huge support from JamesZabeila. Not a bad start for Mr Refunk!!! Respect amoung some of the big names is being earn't and so far he has playedalong side Atomic Hooligan, Jay Cunning, Aquasky, Kid Blue, Def Inc, Future Funk Squad, High 8, Merka, Hoffman andmany more to come!

(a different kind of house) and played along side many great jocks (Norman Jay, Krafty Kuts, Freddy Fresh, RenniePilgrim, Plump DJs to name but a few). After enjoying 4 happy years, Bungalow finally closed its doors and Steve was out on

his ear and Darftphunk was born. 2005 saw DarftPhunk unleash his various beasts on CDR and was given the nod by fellowotter botherers Chris and Jonny from Splank! Records and was asked to remix Myagis Release ‘The Hounds’ which got thenod from many of breaks leading men (and women). Darftphunk also do a live(ish) show with beatboxers, vocalists and saxplayers, they've been doing plenty of shows this year and so far its been going rather well!!!

Manuel NEZTIC has been making quite a name for himself in the breaks scene of late withrecent massive release – ‘Kicking Down’ on MOB records. That track got support from justabout every big name DJ that springs to mind including, the Plumps, Meat Katie, StantonWarriors and Tayo to name a few and has just been licenced for the Australian Footballleague TV coverage (their version of Match of the Day!!!). We’re totally made up that theMexican Manuel has joined ship and signed a 2 release deal with Breakin Even Records. After several releases on various compilations like Technogeist, Love Parade and Maximas

Texturas, Neztic decided to get more involved into nightclubs, djing and club orientedproductions.

Refunk aka JAY STEWART has evolved into the scene through his talented skillsas a drummer. Jay has performed with all kinds of live acts from Drum 'n'Bass/Jazz/Hip Hop/Soul/Acid Gabba and obviously FUNK! This collective ofbands and his passion for music lead him to Leeds where he studied Jazz. Whilstengulfed by Leeds and the thriving Electro/Breaks/House scene he realised thatBreak Beat was where to go next. He began producing in 2003 and DJ'ing evenlater in 2004.

Some people are serious, others silly, but some people take being silly very seriously.DARFTPHUNK (Steve to his mum) has been secretly conducting all many of strangeexperiments in the studio of Darftphunk. Steve, no stranger to the world of Djing, has beenplaying for nearly 16 years. After his friends entering him in a DJ competition he took part andwon, this comp was being run by non other than Nick Slater (Drumattic Twins/Shades OfRhythm), Steve went on to become one of the residents at a weekly night called Bungalow
