Main Attractions

• One of the main attractions in Angra dos Reis is Ilha Grande, which means “Great Island”. It’s a nature reserve in Brazil since 1978. It can be reached from town in an hour and a half trip on boat. It includes fishing villages, lagoons, waterfalls, scuba diving, snorkeling and beaches. It also serves as giant breakwater, sheltering the bay from strong winds and marine currents.
