Maintenance Fees for coming
year 2018 are due at the end of January in the amount of $277. •If you can’t pay the entire amount by that date, please go to the office NOW and work out a payment plan. • Come February 1, if you haven’t paid or don’t have a payment plan, late fees start accruing. Payment of maintenance fees is REQUIRED; it is not optional. If you have received one of the many certified letters that the Association sent regarding past due amounts, please call the office for an appointment TODAY. If you ignore the letter, the Association will turn your account over to its attorneys for collection. That action will add hundreds, perhaps thousands, to the amount you already owe. Failure to address your obligations can result in foreclosure!
We have 986 homes in this sub-division
and it is impossible for just a few
people to ensure that all homes look
the best they can. We need block
captains to help ensure compliance
with our regulations. If you would like
to volunteer, please contact Barbara

Monthly Meetings have been moved to 3RD
Mondays •••December 18 this month.•••
The City of Houston has not yet released a date for heavy trash pickup, but of course they are fining homeowners who leave heavy trash out. Please don’t put heavy trash out. They won’t come to you, but you can take trash to them!
The SW Neighborhood Depository/Recycling center is at 10785
SW Fwy (BW8 at 59). Tel.311. They will take mattresses and
other heavy trash. They will NOT take household garbage. •Be sure to bring your water bill to prove you are a resident.
•DO NOT HAVE ANY COMMERCIAL SIGNS ON YOUR VEHICLE (even if rented) or
they may refuse you entry. I had a magnetic sign and was asked to leave. I left
and took the sign off, then returned and was able to leave a mattress.

CITY OF HOUSTON TRASH PICKUPS RESUME:
Heavy Trash –To be determined
Recycling (Green Mondays) – resumed November 20
l WHEN YOU WALK YOUR DOGS it is City Ordinance that YOU pick up after them -- especially in the rights-of-way that we expect Rosario to mow.
DEED RESTRICTIONS: If your house is in need of repair (e.g., trim or
siding) and you can't afford to do it all at once, please do it a little at a time
-- especially on the places that are visible from the street. Rotten
trim/siding in the front of the house brings down the value/appearance of
not only your house, but also those of your neighbors.
Lawn Mowing: If you don't have the time to maintain your
lawn, please call the office for recommendations of a reliable
lawn service.
Identity Theft With the ease of Internet shopping however, comes its dreaded counterpart – the ease of identity theft. In 2014 alone, $16 billion was stolen from 12.7 million identity theft victims. Keep these tips in mind:
Don’t Fall Victim to Phishing Scams Since December is a busy shopping month and, it’s the time of giving, it’s easy to fall prey to Internet phishing scams. Take the time to ensure you’re giving your personal information to legitimate companies.
Beware of charitable phishing scams: Don’t give your personal information on unsolicited phone calls and emails asking for charitable contributions. Always double check that the foundation is authentic by researching them online and calling them back on their official phone number. • Never shop using public Wi-Fi, as crooks use ‘sniffers’ to steal account numbers and credit card info. Set up passcodes to unlock your phone and financial-related websites.
