IntroductionWelcome to the Rotem Creative Guide.View this Creative Guide as an overview of how to apply the visual guidelines in various different practical situations. The creative guide enables you to see Rotem's look and feel as a consistent and clear brand. As you will see, our visual appearance is characterized by a fun and clear "look and feel”. We hope that you will find it inspiring to work with the elements we offer on this “palette”. By adhering to these rules, we can ensure that the brand will not be diluted by inconsistent messaging and incomplete efforts. We're creating a worldwide brand and every piece counts. The tagline is 1/4 of the logotype

There is only one tagline in Rotem world and that is “Control & Management”.The tagline is always in English. If you want to work with another tagline, please talk to President & CEO for approval.The logotype should be used with the tagline whenever possible to make our mission clear and known.The tagline should then be placed below the logotype as shown on this page.If the tagline does not function or if it is not relevant in the context, use the logotype alone. However, the tagline may never be used on its own, without the logotype, as it then loses its context.The color of the tagline should always be black or negative depending on the color of the background (see Use of Logotype). The typeface of the tagline should always be Arial Regular.The logotype with tagline should never be placed closer to other graphic elements or closer to the edge of a field than shown in the illustration here. Together with the tagline the logotype should be a minimum of 35 mm wide.

SloganThe Slogan included on this page is the only Slogan to be used by all divisions within the company.The Slogan must be presented with the web site in all time (the way it’s presented here). The Slogan can be presented at the bottom part of the page or at the right side of it. The “T“ or “L” must always touch the border of the bage.The Slogan is always bigger than the logo and comes in two colors: green and white, as presented below.

Our typographyThe typography included on this page is the only typography to be used by all divisions within the company. There must be no local variations.The fonts are all available on the enclosed CD.Arial Regular should be used for body copy, headlines, picture captions and product texts.Arial Bold should be used when greater visibility is required and where there is space available.It is used for sub-headlines.

The margins marked create clarity and an airy impression. Follow these to the extent that it is possible, as well as the size of the actual business cards.No form of embossing or relief printing is allowed.No individual designs.

Manual GuidelinesRotem User Manuals are based upon the “Look and Feel” design guidelines used in all other Rotem documents. Anyone wanting to compose a manual needs to check these rules before beginning. A few pointers to keep in mind:

First Page: With branding, product photo, name, part number? and 1. User and Installation Manual written at the bottom of the document. Page 3: Warranty. ISO certificate appears on this page. 2. No header or footer.TOC. No header or footer.3. Rest of document. Recto pages have dot branding, verso pages 4. have the Rotem logo and the Take Control slogan and icon. All manuals end with a verso page. 5. All styles (heading, bullets, text, tables, pictures, etc) 6. must follow the template!

Brochures FolderRotem folders continue the style guide points.To get the strongest effect, the folders must be printed in 2 colors (red folders 2 / 3 green and 1 / 3 red) The folders carry the Rotem logotype at the top left corner, as shown in the example here.

At seminars or meetings, make sure to arrange the folders 2 / 3 green and 1 / 3 red as seen below.

BrochuresRotem brochures follow the visual guidelines of all our printed matter.Make sure that every section of the brochure is based on the following:

Front Side

1. The logotype should be placed at the upper left corner, with the margins as shown in the illustration. For further details, see Use of Logotype. Place the logotype on a green background

2. Within the body of the brochure, you are free to use the visual elements offered, but choose them so that they are relevant to the content.

3. Make sure the red icon is relevant to the content. For example, red rooster icon when the brochure on poultry.

Carton boxOur goal is to standardize the total design in all areas.Therefore it is important to design the outer packaging of our products, incorporating ideas such as preserving the planet and recycling packaging (including the sponge interior). All graphic on the outer package must be according to the grid below; change the proportions according to the label and box sizes.
