Information QJA online training continues; with two local in-person courses under consideration for hosting by this Branch with delivery in 2022 by Chris Lancaster.

Discussion / Decisions
Due to the continuing uncertainty around distancing requirements, it was proposed that the next PD event be scheduled for March 2022. Topics will include Land Title Documents, cyber security precautions including a keynote presentation on Scamming.
Agenda item 8. End of Year Event Chris Lancaster
Discussion Members discussed an end-of-year social event in December. Last year this was held at Headland Golf Club, Buderim. Options will be discussed at the next meeting.

HOW TO RAISE THE ALARM IN AN EMERGENCY• Call for assistance (yell “FIRE” for
attention)
• Dial 000 (0-000 if using an internal phone) —Fire, Ambulance or Police
• Then dial 5430 1122 (1122 if using an internal phone)—Campus Emergency Number (Security)
• Or dial 5430 1168 (1168 if using an internal phone)—Security

• When pressed, an alarm will be activated and Security will respond immediately.

HOW TO LOCATE ROOMS ON CAMPUS The University has a naming convention for tutorial rooms, lecture theatres, computer laboratories and offices on campus. The numbering system identifies (in order) the building, the level, and the room number. Example: K.G.46 is Building K, ground floor, room 46.Lecture theatres are identified by the letters LT and a number. Example: LT.5 is Lecture Theatre 5.Log into sam.usc.edu.au as ‘guest’ for room information.
