General Info

• Ctrl+P brings up the Print dialog• The Insert key must be enabled in order to

paste text into a document• Ctrl+B is used to apply Bold formatting• Ctrl+Shift+N is used to apply the normal style• Ctrl+F2 is used to view a document in Print

General Info• The View menu allows users to open a Web

page• A user can check for spelling errors by using

the following: Tool>Options>General, click Run Spell Check

• The Esc key allows you to close out of Full Screen View

• Strikethrough is an effect that can be applied to characters

• The Format menu allows users to add a Drop Cap to a paragraph

• The View menu shows headers and footers• Using Paste Unformatted Text allows you to

paste text without the formatting• The Window menu allows you to switch

between open documents

• Using Insert>Picture>Form File allows you to insert a logo into a flyer

• Using Choose File>Print and select the correct printer from the drop-down box in the Print dialog box allows you to change the printer to which your document will print

• The One Page feature is available on a button on Print Preview

General Info• The Split feature is used to view 2 parts of a

document simultaneously• You can quickly select an entire table by

clicking the table move handle• You can store repeated text by using the

following: Choose Insert>AutoText>New• You can save a read-only file by using the

following: Select File>Save As and give the file a new name
