My main duties involved Cutting bushes and remove waste from gardens. The company helps to Maintain Gardens and well as creating and design new gardens for customers. This job involved a lot of hard work and dedication because it involved getting up early as well as finish late. I enjoyed this job because you were able to meet new people as well as talk to people you may have never spoken to before. Volunteer Heart Foundation, 2013-Present I started to volunteering at the heart foundation because I wanted to gain new skills as well as gaining important experience in a retail environment. The heart foundation is a charity that is very important to many people and is the heart of the community. People from all of the UK depend on the surfaces of the heart foundation because they are in poverty and are unable to afford clothes for themselves or their children. Lots of people donate to the heart foundation, things such as old clothes, DVDs, children’s toys and much more. My job their involved meeting and greeting customers as they entered the shop floor , as well as dealing with any question or enquires they have about products. There was a strong emphasis on health and safety, customer care and satisfaction. I learnt to work as an individual and also work as part of a team and work with another member of the team in pairs. All of my work experiences have involved working within a team- based . This involved planning , organization, co-ordination and commitment e.g., in retail, this ensured daily sales targets were met, a fair distribution of tasks and effective communication amongst all staff members.
