MIT-WPU School of Pharmacy, the erstwhile MAEER'S Maharashtra Institute of Pharmacy, was established in the year 1997, and is a top-ranked pharmacy school in India where we provide a rewarding learning experience to students along with a vibrant environment for academics, research, curricular and extracurricular activities. The school has comprehensive academic and research tie-ups with several universities and pharmaceutical industries to provide them with a wide Industry exposure. Along with the Pharmacy curriculum, we also provide short-term courses (hands on analytical instruments instead of Analytical instruments and pharmacovigilance and Cosmetic science, Intellectual Property Rights). The

curriculum incorporates Peace Studies and yoga that help learners become physically fit, mentally alert and spiritually elevated individuals.

Pharm is one of the most popular and job oriented programs for science student's post-class 12th In this course, student will study about different Pharmaceutical formulations, Medicinal Chemistry, P h a r m a c e u t i c a l E n g i n e e r i n g , Pharmacology , Pathophysiology , Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Analysis Herbal Drugs, Cosmetics etc. This course provides number of carrier opportunities in public and private sectors. B. Pharm Course extends over eight semesters (Four years) with a credit based system and six semesters (Three years) for later entry students who get admitted directly to second year after Diploma in Pharmacy. The syllabus and curriculum is set by Pharmacy council of India (PCI) New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria: Master’s degree in Pharmacy

with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale.

Details of Entrance Exam: MITWPU shall admit

candidates by a two-stage process consisting of a) Entrance Test, b) Personal Interview The syllabus of the Entrance Test shall consist of 50% of research methodology and 50% shall be subject specific. The Entrance Test shall be conducted at the Centre(s) notified in advance (changes of Centers, if any, also to be notified well in advance). Qualifying marks in Entrance Test shall be 50%. An interview is to be organized by respective Faculty/School/Department. The candidates are required to discuss their research interest/area through a presentation before a duly constituted RRC.

A relaxation of 5% of marks from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled and other categories of candidates

Exemption from Entrance Test: Entrance Test is exempted for those students who qualify UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/GPAT/teacher fellowship holder or have passed M.Phil. programme (admitted through entrance test) of any statutory University.

The MIT-WPU Academic framework focusses on del ivering Academic and Practical Knowledge to match Global Industry Requirements through highly engaged International Study Credits. This involves 2-4 weeks of planned International tour*, whereby Students study and experience actual working of noted Industry, Organisations, Government

bodies and Universities relevant to their field of specialisation. The students attain specified course and receive Joint certificates from affiliate Institutions of repute at the end of this program.
