BP ENERGOL® OE-HT 30

CROSSHEAD ENGINE SYSTEM OIL

Introduction

Energol® OE-HT 30 oil is a high performance

multifunctional alkaline lubricant designed for

use in all types of low-speed marine

crosshead diesel engines.

Energol OE-HT 30 oil is recommended for themain system lubrication of all low speed

crosshead engines including the new

generation ‘cam-less’ engines featuring

electronic control (such as Wärtsilä RT-flex

and MAN B & W). These technologies depend

on the hydraulic systems. Energol OE-HT 30

has the required load carrying properties for

this additional function.

Features and Benefits

• Appropriate detergency to minimize

the formation of piston undercrown

deposits on cooled pistons.

• Contains sufficient alkalinity to protect

against acidic combustion products.• Excellent thermal and oxidative stability 

to minimize oil degradation at high

piston undercrown temperatures.

• May be centrifuged to remove water

and insoluble particulate contamination.

• High anti-wear properties to FZG lead

stage 12 for hydraulic performance.

• Excellent anti-rust performance.

• Approved by major OEM’s of marine

crosshead diesel engines world wide.

Energol OE-HT 30 must only be used in

accordance with OEM instructions. OEM oil

change intervals should be observed.
