Bowls NSW congratulates all the clubs who were successful with their grant applications.

The Association would also like to express its gratitude and thanks to each NSW RBM who helped all of the clubs to submit grant applications.

Without their expertise and knowledge, this great result for our sport would not have been achieved.

Bowls NSW encourages all clubs to keep up to date with any upcoming NSW grant schemes and to contact their local RBM or Bowls NSW Head Office, if they would like assistance in preparing and sending grant applications.

KENO is Giving You a Second Chance To Win!

Even if you don’t win a game, you can take home $1,000 in cash simply by buying a Keno ticket and scanning it for a second chance to win.

Everyone wants a second chance and now you have one! You can win a share in $5,000 every month just by buying a Keno ticket thanks to Keno’s popular Second Chance Draw.

Originally launched in August 2019, this ongoing promotion is available now and offers players a chance to be a Keno winner – no matter how much

they spend on their Keno ticket or how often they play.

Every time you purchase a Keno ticket, head to win.secondchance.keno.com.au and scan it to enter the draw. At the end of every month, Keno randomly draws five players to win $1,000 in cash each.

And remember, every ticket you buy is another chance to enter and win a share of the $5,000, so the more frequently you play, the more times you can enter.

“Second Chance Draw is all about showing our customers how much we value and appreciate them, and that everyone deserves another chance to be a Keno winner,” says Scott Colvin, Keno’s Head of Brand Marketing.

“On top of the millions of dollars Keno gives away to winning ticket holders, there’s now $5,000 up for grabs every month for anyone who plays Keno.”

So, grab yourself a Keno ticket today and scan for your chance to take home $1,000 in cash!

Exciting Opportunity for a Sydney Based Bowling Club

Australian Indoor Singles- NSW Qualifiers

Switchfoot Productions in conjunction with ABC Television and Fremantle Productions are producing a TV drama series that needs a bowling club in Sydney as a filming location.   The TV drama is a period piece set in 1970’s with the bowling club being set as the main venue where the characters and community in the series socialise and interact.   BECAUSE THIS DRAMA IS SET IN THE 1970’s THE BOWLING CLUB INTERIOR NEEDS TO HAVE A VINTAGE FEEL TO IT.   Filming is scheduled to start in July 2021 and is expected to run for 12 weeks, although filming on the location will be

organised with the club, so as to not disrupt normal activities.   The producers are willing to pay a location fee for the duration of the production and will provide all public liability, property insurances and security. They will create a safe working place following all health directives to keep cast and crew protected and align to the clubs COVID safe plans.   If your club would like to be involved and believes it to be a suitable venue, please send an email to [email protected] providing contact details. Please respond no later than THURSDAY 13TH MAY and your interest will be passed on to the production company.

Potable Water Survey – NSW Bowling Clubs

Bowls NSW Energy Partner

The NSW Bowling Greenkeepers Association have been working in conjunction with the NSW Golf Course Superintendents Association, Bowls NSW and Water, Property and Housing Minister Melinda Pavey in regards to the water restrictions across the state.

We are seeking to obtain information from our NSW bowling clubs to assist in these discussions and formulate and implement workable restrictions and strategic water solutions for future years for the benefit of our sport and clubs.

A short 7-question survey can be found at the following link:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/nswbga_watersurvey

We find that 80% of business’s we speak to are overspending and we are reaching out to ensure that you’re not one of them!

Just to be clear we would never suggest or recommend that you switch unless it’s in your best interest and our comparison service is free – for transparency - the retailers pay us a flat fee for switching customers but this in no way is passed on to you.

What we do is take the usage, discounts (if you have any) and charges – pop them into our system and I can get back to you with an estimated savings figure, or let you know if you’re on a more competitive plan than any we have available from the retailers.

Best part about it – is we do all the work for you!
