Bottom Freezer Product Range
April 2004 ESSE-N /A.S. 2
BFPR
BFPR = Bottom Freezer Product Range is the new bottom combi range from Mariestad factoryOuter housing as on previous combi rangeBase and inner lining modified, resulting in:
inner freezer bottom 5 cm lower more volume with identical external dimensions
stainless steel doors with “anti-fingerprint” treatment
April 2004 ESSE-N /A.S. 3
BFPRVariants
2-compressor combis with static cooling in refrigerator2-compressor combis with dynamic cooling in refrigerator (DME = Dynamic Mini Evaporator)1-compressor combis with magnetic valve1-compressor combis with magnetic valve and RSD compressor for appliances with energy label A++ (electronic box for compressor now bonded to bottom plate because of reduced space)Bottom freezer always with static cooling

BFPRSensors
Up to 4 NTC sensors:
refrigerator air sensor white wiringrefrigerator evaporator sensor black wiringair sensor for 0°C compartment white wiring with marking
freezer air sensor brown wiring
Sensors are available as spare parts, and can be replaced
However, 2 or 3 sensors may have a common connector;then they come as a single spare part, so all of them have to be replaced
April 2004 ESSE-N /A.S. 7
Semihidden Evaporator
Evaporator must be unfastened for sensor or thermostat replacement - see Service Bulletin 599252769

ERF2050
ERF2050 is an “extension” of ERF2000 for 2-compressor combis with DME and 0°C compartment
Can drive additional components:0°C-compartment air sensor0°C-compartment fan
Software adapted for function with 0°C compartment

ERF2050Normal Function
compressor ON, when cooler air sensor OR 0°C-compartment air sensorreach their respective CUT-IN temperatures(N.B.: to ensure correct temperature control in the 0°C compartment, it is not possible to take into consideration the evaporator sensor during normal compressor cycles)
Cooler fan ON, when cooler air sensor reaches its CUT-IN temperature
0°C-compartment fan ON, when 0°C-compartment air sensor reaches its CUT-IN temperature
April 2004 ESSE-N /A.S. 26
ERF2050Normal Function
compressor OFF, when cooler air sensor AND 0°C-compartment air sensorreach their respective CUT-OUT temperatures
Fans OFFIf both fans are running, and one of the air sensors reaches its CUT-OUT temperature, the respective fan will stop immediatelyIf only one fan running, and its air sensor reaches the CUT-OUT temperature, the fan will stop after 2 minutes(i.e. fan running last will stop with 2 min delay)

ERF2050Sensor Failure - Refrigerator
Sensor failure is shown if sensor resistance is outside the working range
In refrigerator display:
cooler air sensor failure
evaporator sensor failure
0°C-compartment air sensor failure
EEPROM error
In all these fault cases:Compressor and cooler fan 20 min ON / 30 min OFF0°C-compartment fan OFF

Reversing Door Hinge on LCD-on-Door Models
Separate PNCs will be available with R.H. hinge and L.H. door hinge respectively
Reversing possible for service only
Wiring from user interface in top panel to LCD on door has to be re-routed
Prior to performing this operation, new bows (end caps )for the refrigerator door handle have to be ordered !
