TRANSFER OF ENTRIES

NOTE: BECAUSE OF TRAVEL TIME TO THE SHOW SITE, TRANSFER OF ENTRIES AND REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS FOR PUBLISHED JUDGE CHANGES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN THE OFFICE AFTER 12 :00 NOON ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 15. AFTER THIS TIME, YOU MUST CONTACT THE SUPERINTENDENT ON SITE.

CONFORMATION: Dogs may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed or Variety competition, provided this transfer is presented to the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the scheduled start of any regular conformation judging at the show.

JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP: Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition, if a win in Novice leads to a Best Junior with competition present it will count as one win towards moving to Open, after closing of entries for a show are required to transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class by notifying the Superintendent at least one-half hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship juding at the show. Correction may be made from one age division to another, provided this transfer must be made to the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the judging of any Junior Showmanship class at the show.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS -ALL EVENTS

• Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the eventthat a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame,excused by the Judge or Veterinarian, orbarred from competition by action of the ShowCommittee, or because it has been enteredincorrectly. There is no refund for DUPLICATEENTRIES or OVERPAYMENTS. If, because ofriots, civil disturbances or other acts beyondthe control of the management it is impossibleto open, or to complete the Show NO REFUNDwill be made. To find out about any AKC eventcancellations call the AKC Event CancellationHotline 877-252-3229.

• Please note: Any hotel or motel listed in thepremium list is subject to Event CommitteeRules. We expect our exhibitors to beresponsible guests. A report that an exhibitor atthis show has abused hotel or motel propertyduring this weekend may result in disciplinaryaction. Clubs reserve the right to decline futureentries from the offending party in accordancewith the provisions of Chapter 11, Section 15 ofthe Rules Applying to Dog Shows.

• Dogs need be present only for scheduledjudging and will be released if not needed forfurther judging. Dogs must be ready for judging.Neither the club nor its SuperintendenVShowSecretary will be responsible or obligated tofurnish any service for notifying exhibitors ortheir agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judgesneed not wait for any dog holding up a class.Owners or agents alone are responsible for thepresence of their dogs in the judging rings.

• Only dogs eligible for these shows will beadmitted into the show area. There is noprovision for unentered dogs.

• LOSS OR DAMAGE - The Show Committee willuse due care and diligence for the welfare ofdogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsiblefor, or assume any liability in the event ofany accident or misfortune, to either dogs orexhibitors participating in these Shows. Thewelfare of an Exhibitor's child is assumed to bethe responsibility of the Exhibitor. It is distinctlyunderstood that Exhibitors will exercise controland restraint over their children.

• Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians'recommendation to assure their dogs arefree of internal and external parasites, anycommunicable diseases, and have appropriatevaccinations.

• ALL RIGHTS TO TELEVISE, VIDEOTAPE,ADVERTISE, PHOTOGRAPH, PROMOTE orotherwise exploit this event are vested in theClub, or in persons to whom assignmentsof such rights have been made in writingby the Club. All persons and animals on theShow Grounds at any time while the showis in progress, do by attending this show orparticipating therein, grant to the Club the rightto photograph, televise, videotape, audiotapeor otherwise use their likeness and voice inany manner without further release or consent.The Club is not responsible for the actions orproducts of the commercial vendors at thisshow.
