HOLIDAY COLLECTION (Summer only): There will be no interruption in services for summer holidays. Summer holidays are Memorial Day (May 27), July 4 holiday and Labor Day (Sept. 2). Trash and recyclables will be collected. WEEKEND DROP-OFF HOURS AND GUIDELINES: Jan. 5 – April 28 Sat., Sun. 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. May 3 – Sept. 29 Fri., Sat., Sun. 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Oct. 5 – Dec. 29 Sat., Sun. 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. This drop-off is intended for small amounts of household trash for Borough residents only. Drop off is located on the Bayview Drive entrance. Please bring photo ID. Please do NOT leave items outside the gate or along the sidewalk after hours. NOTE: No trash/recyclable drop-off on Sunday, April 21 (Easter).

WASTE DISPOSAL INFORMATION TRASH: Trash must be curbside by 7 a.m. on the day of and no earlier than 7 p.m. on the evening prior to collection day. All trash bags must be placed in a container with a lid. To avoid fines, do not place plastic trash bags on curb without a container. SINGLE STREAM RECYCLING: Paper, bottles and cans must be placed loosely together in a clearly marked reusable recycling container. NO PLASTIC BAGS. Please call the office if you have any questions regarding DO’s and DONT’s of recycling. Recyclable products must be curbside in a properly labeled container by 7 a.m. on the day of and no earlier than 7 p.m. on the evening prior to collection day. GRASS: Call DPW to schedule a pick up. Grass and cut vegetation must be placed in BROWN PAPER VEGETATIVE BAGS (NO PLASTIC BAGS) and set at curbside on the scheduled day of pick up. BRANCHES: Call DPW to schedule a pick up. Branches must be bundled (at 4-foot length maximum) and set at curbside on the scheduled day of pick up. RIGID PLASTICS/METAL/BULK: Call DPW to schedule a pickup.
