Declaration of Condemnation of

Montgomery County Commissioner Joseph C. Gale WHEREAS, North Wales Borough was incorporated on August 20, 1869 as a borough within Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; and WHEREAS, Montgomery County is administered by a board of three commissioners; two from the majority political party and one from the minority political party; and WHEREAS, each commissioner is at-large; thus, representing all the residents of Montgomery County regardless of race, creed, or party affiliation; and WHEREAS, Joseph C. Gale was elected to serve as Montgomery County Commissioner and sits as the minority member; and WHEREAS, Commissioner Gale has created a hostile working environment within the County Board of Commissioners; and WHEREAS, Commissioner Gale has substituted his personal agenda for an agenda that serves the residents of Montgomery County, including the residents of North Wales Borough; and WHEREAS, Commissioner Gale has rendered himself ineffective as a County Commissioner; and WHEREAS, on June 1, 2020, Commissioner Gale issued a statement that was racially inflammatory and also disparaged the character of Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw; and WHEREAS, the inflammatory comments by Commissioner Gale do not reflect the views or the spirit of North Wales Borough. NOW THEREFORE, on this 9th day of June 2020, as Mayor of North Wales Borough, I condemn the June 1, 2020 statement of Commissioner Gale; and FURTHERMORE, as Mayor of North Wales Borough, and on behalf of its governing body and its residents, I call on Commissioner Joseph C. Gale to do what is best for North Wales Borough and for all of Montgomery County by submitting his resignation. ____________________________ Gregory J. D’Angelo, CBO, Mayor

• Officer Hammerstone distributed prizes to the winners of the DARE essay contest.

• We had the honor of being asked to attend multiple drive by birthday parties.

• Staying as productive as we can by completing mandatory and elective training on-line.
