prospectus signed in pencil by Robinson. Black and red
marbled rag paper-covered boards. contained within the
original red morocco-backed black cloth box, spine gilt.
This copy is one of five artists proofs which contain an extra
suite of plates, and this particular copy also contains two

fold-out, the mounts with blue/green silked edges. Bevelled
wooden boards, the upper cover of each work with the titles
in Chinese characters cut out of black velvet mounted on
gilt and red paper backing, with a manuscript title in
French in black ink on red paper framed with card.
A unique pair of manuscript Chinese military albums: a
relic of the Sino-French War of 1883-1885.

A lovely Homann composite atlas with full contemporary
