Tra c of the Stage sets this famous Shakespearean comedy in eighteenth century Spain with its colour, passion and energy. Sword ghts, amenco dancing, romantic guitar music and cloak-and-dagger intrigue are ingredients in this pacy production.

Judi Bowker (Clash of the Titans) and Harry Meacher (The Scarlet Pimpernel) play the sparring lovers, Beatrice and Benedick, in this cautionary tale of love and self-deception. `I will die a bachelor`, announces Benedick, at the beginning of the play, but pride comes before a fall . . . and all the characters have lessons to learn in this timeless satire on the conventions of courtly love.

This show has the all-classic Bill Bailey elements, trademark musical mash-ups, multi-lingual ris, lms, songs, philosophizing and silliness on a grand scale… Plus one amazing owl.

Evening News Edinburgh Fringe Capital Award-winning show, I Spy Mrs Peery, is a story of mystery, intrigue and suspense, more violent than a crash diet, more spine-chilling

than ice cubes down the back of yer nightie! Mrs Peery sees it all from behind her net curtains, she never crosses her own door step, but she’s plenty to say about the state of her neighbours.

The British Comedy Award’s Queen of Comedy, Sarah Millican, is giving up the party scene (Ann Summers), easing o on the drinking (zzy pop equals wealthy dentists) and is settling down (taking her bra o ). Determined to put down some roots, she now has a cat (furry baby) and

even a tree (she has a lot of mugs). On this, her third national tour, you will learn what to take on a dirty weekend, the easiest way to blend in in posh restaurants and how to teach a pensioner to swear. Join her for some hilarious domestic bliss.

No stranger to the Library Theatre, the Bolton Bullfrog is back performing his favourite songs, monologues and instrumentals. Many will have heard his broadcasts on Radio Lancashire or seen his exploits on such TV classics

as Dinner Ladies, Phoenix Nights and Emmerdale. He might even be persuaded to do “Is There A Car Park?”- the Blackburn anthem!

BERNARD WRIGLEY

Stewart Francis, Craig Campbell and Glenn Wool – the UK’s favourite Canadian comedians - will each perform a solo show as a rotating triple bill, as part of the hugely successful touring stand-up comedy tour The Lumberjacks. Following

their acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Festival last year, The Lumberjacks hit the road in April this year and have been playing to packed theatres and garnering fantastic reviews up and down the UK.

THE LUMBERJACKS

In the world of television magic, no one has enjoyed more success than Paul Daniels. From the moment he burst onto our screens, his magic shows have topped the ratings. He is undoubtedly the most successful TV magician of the 20th century, and has become a true magical legend.

Come and see his brand new show where he will perform a selection of his favourite magic and a number of new tricks never performed in public. He will be joined by the very lovely Debbie McGee. A show full of magic, comedy and amazement.

THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES

Two of the most iconic performers of a generation, Jim Davidson and Richard Digance join forces this autumn for a limited tour of venues across the country.

For over a decade, Jim Davidson dominated prime time TV comedy with smash hit shows such as Big Break and The Generation Game, and to this day he remains one of the most popular stand-up comedians the country has ever produced.

BAFTA-nominee Richard Digance, a major TV star in his own right, is

heralded by musicians and comedians alike as one of the most inuential comedy song writers, performers and musicians ever.

Having appeared together many times throughout the eighties, travelling the world, often to entertain our troops in some of the most inhospitable places imaginable, the two come together again in celebration of great times, great memories and great shows.

Very much a night of music and laughter not to be missed. 16+ show

The identity of the killer known as Jack the Ripper has long remained a mystery, but now through Trevor Marriott’s long and protracted 12-year re-investigation of these crimes, new evidence found in secret police les has led to the identication of new suspects and new evidence, all of which now challenges our understanding of the case and casts a major doubt about many of the original and accepted theories.

Please note that original crime scene and post mortem pictures of a graphic nature will be shown, which some people may nd disturbing.
