WRITE A BOOK

MAIN IDEA

Think of the main idea of the story. Think of the genre of the story wither fantasy, crime, science-

fiction, non-fiction, or fiction, and try to find the main thing that is in the story for example:

Example: A sad story about a person whose family is not rich. He finds something (gold/money) and

becomes rich.

Just a simple idea about the story.

MAIN EVENTS

Main events about how this or that happened or what was its cause? The things that happen which lead

to problems and cause suspense in stories. Find a solution for the problem as the ending part.

BASIC DRAWING PLAN

Draw a basic plan on paper, on which write events in circles and add arrows pointing to another event

which are related.

WRITE A SHORT WRITTEN PLAN

Extract the basic drawing plan, into a short written plane in which you add details about a person, or a

thing. Write all the events you come around here.

EXTEND THE DOCUMENT

Add details about a person, or a thing. Include description of events and things. Add information aboutthings or people example: How someone looked or dressed; a gleaming pen or a big brown suitcase.Add

weather details example: A sunny morning, or a rainy night. Add information which is even irrelevant to

the main idea, because its a story not an essay. Add any information you can think of. Increase the

story explanation by adding relative information about the event.

IMPROVE THE VOCABULARY

Using a thesaurus is highly recommended. You can use a dictionary as well and make sentences to add

them to the story.

ADD PHRASES

Increase information on how someone reacted, or did something while saying something. Add details

on how the person said something example: I will have two cups of coffee he saidbriskly. Briskly is the

word used to express how someone said I will have two cups of coffee?

TYPE OF LANGUAGE (FORMAL/ INFORMAL)

If you want your document to be formal then change words like:YO, yeah, whatever, etc.to: Okay or

yes. You can change any word to its formal state if desired.

ADD A TITLE

Adding a title which is relevant to the topic, sometimes you may chose a title which is described in the

story very much, or the main idea of the story.

PROFFREAD

Take a help of a person who knows English very much it could be your mother, father, brother or your

sister. If you want to make your story public, then take the help of someone who has done a

qualification in English language.

PUBLISH!

Publish your story online or print it on your printer at your house.
