Friday LAST DAY!! Be sure and get everything that you want by 2:45 p.m.

We have two ways you can earn a $25.00 gift certificate:1. See Wednesday night.2. The other way is to help us put new books in our classroom. Each teacher will have a wish

box, filled with books they would like for their class. Purchase a book for a teacher and getyour name in a drawing for a $25.00 scholastic gift certificate.

The drawing will be held Thursday afternoon so that will give the winner until Friday afternoon to maketheir selection.

Last but not least, we have a very special project. It is called One for Books. In each one of ourclassrooms, there will be a box, decorated especially for this project. We are asking that the kids over thenext two weeks to bring in pocket change (paper will also be accepted!). This will help your teacherpurchase some of the books in his/her wish boxes. However, there is an ulterior motive. For every dollar

that our school is able to collect, Scholastic will donate a book to three special charities: Tots for Tots, Kidsin Distress Situations, and Kids in Need. So not only will your change make a difference at our school, butit will also help a needy child. Did I mention that the classroom bringing in the most money (takingnumber of children per class intoconsideration) will also get an additional $25.00 Scholastic giftcertificate? So start filling up your boxes.
