Puppy Dog Bag Designed by Belle Lerdworatawee

Materials: • Crochet Hook 5.00 mm (H size)

• Crochet Hook 6.00 mm (J size)

• 4 ply black yarn

• St marker

• Stuffing

• Sugar’n Cream Yarn in these colors: -Jute x3 -Warm Brown x1 -Soft Ecru x1 -color of your choice for strap/mini bag

Notes: • The pattern is crocheted in a spiral, so you

don’t join at the end of the round. Use the stitch marker to mark the beginning of a new row, and move it as you work

• I use Magic Ring to begin most crocheted parts, an optional way would be to ch 2 and then work in the 2nd st from hook.

• Every part is made with the 6.00 mm hook

Head using Jute R1. Strap using any color ch any number of chains you want R1. hdc in 2nd ch from hook and to end of R R2. ch 1, turn, hdc in back loops to end of R R3. ch 1, turn, hdc in front loops to end of R Fasten off and leave tail for sewing

Mini Bag using any color make a Magic Ring R1. sc 5 in ring (5 st) R2. sc inc 5 times (10 st) R3. *sc 1, sc inc in next st* rp 5 times (15 st) R4. sc in back loop to end of R (15 st) R5-6. sc in each st (15 st) ch 31, turn, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and to end of chs, sl st into sc to secure the cord.

Fasten off, weave all tails. Sew a button to the open end of the cord and sew the end to the bag. Put the bag onto the dog and sew the bag’s strap to the dog’s shoulder.

Assembly:

sew zipper, eyes, ears and strap to head (use picture for reference) sew nose onto muzzle (there’s a tutorial below)

sew muzzle onto head sew legs, arms, mini bag and belly button onto body

stuff the body then sew to head
