MANAGEMENT

• Provide program-wide administration of the NSIDC DAAC. Establish, approve, coordinate and prioritize programs

and projects of the DAAC Assure DAAC programs and projects are completed on

time and on budget Oversee DAAC financial, HR, and office support

functions• Provide program-wide liaison with external

organizations• Maintain and coordinate the DAAC User Working

Group (UWG)

USER SUPPORT

• Sustaining engineering: schedule install and check out upgrades to operating systems, COTS packages Assess DAAC IT resource needs, acquire IT resources, Develop and/or modify database schema as needed for data set

additions and deletions Provide configuration management of ECS and non-ECS

systems, maintain inventory of non-ECS computing equipment• Development engineering: plan and develop augmentations to

NSIDC DAAC computing and networking environment as required by user and data set demand

• Acquire and attend specialized training as required to fulfill engineering functions
