Through this program, a member of AOTA’s Board of Directors can come to your school through the power of skype or conference call. Leaders can host a discussion on the importance of AOTA membership, bring you up to date on the latest professional issues, or a variety of other topics.

What is Boardroom to Classroom?
Through Boardroom to Classroom, AOTA’s Board of Directors can come to your school through the power of the telecommunication technology. Leaders can host a discussion on the importance of AOTA membership, bring you up to date on the latest professional issues, or discuss one of the other topics listed below. To participate, we ask that you have a group of 5 or more students at the event, have access to a phone with conference call capabilities or a computer with Skype (www.skype.com) to videoconference, and plenty of questions. You may request a specific Board member; however, due to scheduling conflicts you may be assigned the next available board member.
Discussion Topics: Centennial Vision, Advocacy in Occupational Therapy, Importance of AOTA Membership, Getting More Involved in AOTA, Current Factors Affecting Occupational Therapy, Importance of Research and Evidence in the Profession, Recent Successes of AOTA for Occupational Therapy
