BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE SPECIAL SERVICES SCHOOL DISTRICT ANDTHE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY OF THE COUNTY OF BURLINGTON
REGULAR MEETING
The Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of the Special Services School District and TheInstitute of Technology of The County of Burlington was held on Thursday evening, June 26,2014, at the Rutgers Media Center, 2 Academy Dr., Westampton, NJ.
The meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m. by Robert Silcox, followed by the flag salute.
Theresa Margiotta, Board Secretary, stated that this meeting was in accordance with the OpenPublic Meeting Act and that this was a public meeting.

Public Comments:Mr. Bodnar and Ms. Fessenbecker, BCIT: presented student books from the Teen Writers Guild,which was written, art work created and signed by the students. Ms. Fessenbecker also presentedthe Superintendent with the Medford Campus Yearbook.
Natalie Mcguire, BCSSSD: For Project Learning developed a Business Project on “TattooBusiness” showed notebooks designed by Vision Quest students; discussed Vision Questtransition move.
Sue MacDonald, BCIT: Discussed BCIT Medford Guidance mapping way to college; Life 101Magazine; Scholastics; 40% workforce/20% pt college/20% 4 year college.

Dr. Manno: showed BCIT Westampton DVD “Happy” song created by students. Great video!

AdjournmentSince there was no further business, Mr. Silcox asked for a motion to adjourn. On a motion byLeon Jones and second by Kathleen Burgess the Board adjourned at 5:10 p.m. with thereorganizational meeting to be the on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Rutgers Media Center at 9:00a.m.
