4. Cooperative Sports Program Agreement Approval to enter into a Cooperative Sports Program Agreement between the West Essex

Regional School District Board of Education and the Caldwell-West Caldwell School

District Board of Education in order to facilitate a Varsity and Junior Varsity Ice Hockey

program, for the 2017/2018 school year, with a renewal option for the 2018/2019 school

year.

This Agreement is contingent upon both school districts receiving approval from the

NJSIAA through submission of the NJSIAA Program Application for Cooperative

Sports. If not approved by the NJSIAA, this Agreement shall be null and void.

5. Amended 2016-2017 School Calendar

Approval to amend the 2016-17 school year district calendar to include closing of school

on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 due to an unused emergency closing day as of April 11, 2017.

6. Amended 12-Month Employees’ Calendar for 2017-18 Approval to amend the 12-Month Employees’ Calendar for the 2017-18 calendar year to

change Rosh Hashanah from Friday, September 22, to Thursday, September 21, 2017.

7. Amended Summer Program Approval to amend the Special Education Extended School Year Summer School

program dates from July 3-27 to July 3-31, 2017.

8. Special Education Out of District Placements Approval of student #9905458 to attend Craig High School, Boonton, NJ, at a tuition rate

of $23,368.50, effective February 1 to June 30, 2017.

Approval of student #9905640 to attend Windsor Bergen Academy, Ridgewood, NJ, at a

tuition rate of $19,537.05, effective March 9 to June 30, 2017.

Approval of student #9905417 to attend Craig School, Mountain Lakes, NJ, at a tuition
