• Protect the product from dirt, moisture andoverheating, and only use it in a dry environment.

• Disconnect the product from the network using thepower button – if this is not available, unplug thepower cord from the socket.

• Do not use the product in moist environments andavoid splashes.

• Do not drop the product and do not expose it toany major shocks.

• Dispose of packaging material immediatelyaccording to locally applicable regulations.

• Do not modify the product in any way. Doing sovoids the warranty.

4. System requirementsThe keyboard works with Bluetooth®-enabled tabletPCs and smartphones running iOS, Android andWindows.

The requirements for keyboard use are as follows:

• All iPad and iPhone devices can be used.• Android devices require Android 3.0 or newer.• Bluetooth-enabled Windows devices require WindowsXP, Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10.

Check whether the latest version is installed and, ifnecessary, perform a software update.

Note

• To ensure that the keyboard functionsproperly, check that the right keyboardlayout (QWERTZ, QWERTY etc.) is set inyour device’s settings.

• Note that support for certain key functionsmay vary depending on your device.

• If some keys on the Bluetooth® keyboarddo not work properly on your device forsoftware reasons, you can run them viathe virtual keyboard.

• Please refer to the operating instructionsfor the device you are using.

5. Getting Started

Warning – Batteries

• Immediately remove dead batteries fromthe product and dispose of them.

• Only use batteries (or rechargeablebatteries) that match the specified type.

• Do not mix old and new batteries orbatteries of a different type or make.

• When inserting the batteries, make surethat the polarity is correct (‘+’ and ‘-’markings). Failure to do so could result inthe batteries leaking or exploding.

• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

• Keep batteries out of the reach ofchildren.

• Do not short circuit batteries/rechargeablebatteries and keep them away fromuncoated metal objects.

• Open the battery compartment (4), insert two AAAbatteries with the correct polarity and close thebattery compartment (4).

• If the battery charge is low, the Bluetooth/batterystatus LED (1) will begin to flash blue duringoperation. Replace the batteries immediately asdescribed above.

6. Operation

Note

• The functions described in this sectionare only available for Bluetooth-capableterminal devices.

• Note that the maximum range forBluetooth is 10 metres without obstaclessuch as walls, people, etc.

6.1 Bluetooth® pairing

Note – Pairing

• Make sure that your Bluetooth®-capableterminal device is on and Bluetooth® isactivated.

• Make sure that your Bluetooth®-capableterminal device is visible for otherBluetooth® devices.

• For more information, please refer to theoperating instructions of your terminaldevice.

• Slide the [OFF/ON] switch (2) to the ON positionto switch on the Bluetooth® keyboard. TheBluetooth®/battery status LED (1) flashes blue.

• Press and hold the [CONNECT] button (3) untilthe Bluetooth®/battery status LED (1) begins tocontinually flash blue. The keyboard is searchingfor a Bluetooth® connection.

• Open the Bluetooth® settings on your terminaldevice and wait until Hama KEY4ALL X510appears in the list of Bluetooth® devices found.

• Select Hama KEY4ALL X510, follow anyinstructions on your terminal device, and waituntil the keyboard is shown as connected in theBluetooth® settings on your terminal device. TheBluetooth®/battery status LED (1) goes out.

• You can now use the Bluetooth® keyboard.

6.2 Automatic Bluetooth® connection (aftersuccessful pairing)

Note

• Make sure that your Bluetooth®-capableterminal device is on and Bluetooth® isactivated.

• Make sure that your Bluetooth®-capableterminal device is visible for other Bluetooth®devices.

• For more information, please refer to theoperating instructions of your terminal device.

• Slide the [OFF/ON] switch (2) to the ON positionto switch on the Bluetooth® keyboard. TheBluetooth®/battery status LED (1) flashes blue.

• You can now use the Bluetooth® keyboard.

NoteConnection impaired

After the devices have been pairedonce, the connection is then establishedautomatically. If the Bluetooth® connectionis not established automatically, check thefollowing:

• Check the Bluetooth® settings of yourterminal device to see whether HamaKEY4ALL X510 is connected. If not,repeat the steps listed under 6.1Bluetooth® pairing.

• Check whether obstacles are impairingthe range. If so, move the devices closertogether.

6.3 Changing the operating systemThe Hama KEY4ALL X510 keyboard supportsthree different operating systems. You can usethe following shortcut keys to select the desiredoperating system:• fn + Q for Apple iOS• fn + W for Android• fn + E for Windows

6.4 Multimedia keysThe multimedia keys give you direct access to variousapplications and functions.You can use them by pressing fn + the requiredmultimedia key.

6.5 Standby and switching off• If you do not use the keyboard for longer than 15minutes, it will automatically switch to standbymode.

• Press any key to reactivate the keyboard.• Slide the [OFF/ON] switch (2) to the OFF positionto switch off the Bluetooth® keyboard.

7. Care and Maintenance• Only clean this product with a slightly damp,lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaningagents.

• Make sure that water does not get into the product.

5. Inbetriebnahme

Warnung – Batterien

• Entfernen und entsorgen Sie verbrauchteBatterien unverzüglich aus dem Produkt.

• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Akkus (oderBatterien), die dem angegebenen Typentsprechen.

• Mischen Sie alte und neue Batterien nicht,sowie Batterien unterschiedlichen Typsoder Herstellers.

• Beachten Sie unbedingt die korrektePolarität (Beschriftung + und -)der Batterien und legen Sie dieseentsprechend ein. Bei Nichtbeachtungbesteht die Gefahr des Auslaufens odereiner Explosion der Batterien.

• Laden Sie Batterien nicht.

• Bewahren Sie Batterien außerhalb derReichweite von Kindern auf.

• Schließen Sie Akkus/Batterien nichtkurz und halten Sie sie von blankenMetallgegenständen fern.

• Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach (4), legen Sie zweiAAA Batterien polrichtig ein und schließen Sie dasBatteriefach (4) wieder.

• Bei geringer Batteriekapazität beginnt die Status-LED Bluetooth Verbindung / Akkukapazität(1) während des Betriebs blau zu blinken.Wechseln Sie die Batterien umgehend wie obenbeschrieben aus.

6. Betrieb

Hinweis

• Die in diesem Kapitel beschriebenenFunktionen sind nur mit Bluetooth-fähigenEndgeräten möglich.

• Beachten Sie, dass die Reichweite vonBluetooth max. 10 Meter beträgt, ohneHindernisse wie Wände, Personen, etc.

6.1 Bluetooth® Erstverbindung (Pairing)

Hinweis – Pairing

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr Bluetooth®-fähiges Endgerät eingeschaltet ist unddass Bluetooth® aktiviert ist.

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr Bluetooth®-fähiges Endgerät für andere Bluetooth®Geräte sichtbar ist.

• Beachten Sie hierzu dieBedienungsanleitung Ihres Endgerätes.

• Schieben Sie den [OFF/ON] – Schalter (2) aufdie Position ON, um die Bluetooth®-Tastatureinzuschalten. Die Status-LED Bluetooth®Verbindung / Akkukapazität (1) blinkt blau auf.

• Drücken und halten Sie die [CONNECT] –Taste (3), bis die Status-LED Bluetooth®Verbindung / Akkukapazität (1) dauerhaft blauzu blinken beginnt. Die Tastatur sucht nach einerBluetooth Verbindung.

• Öffnen Sie auf Ihrem Endgerät die Bluetooth®Einstellungen und warten Sie bis in der Liste dergefundenen Bluetooth® Geräte Hama KEY4ALLX510 angezeigt wird.

• Wählen Sie Hama KEY4ALL X510 aus, folgenSie ggfs. den Anweisungen Ihres Endgerätesund warten Sie bis die Tastatur als verbunden inden Bluetooth® Einstellungen Ihres Endgerätesangezeigt wird. Die Status-LED Bluetooth®Verbindung / Akkukapazität (1) erlischt.

• Sie können die Bluetooth®-Tastatur nunverwenden.

6.2 Automatische Bluetooth® Verbindung(nach bereits erfolgtem Pairing)

Hinweis

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr Bluetooth®-fähiges Endgerät eingeschaltet ist unddass Bluetooth® aktiviert ist.

Nach einer erfolgreichen Erstverbindungerfolgt die Verbindung automatisch. Solltesich die Bluetooth® Verbindung nichtautomatisch wiederherstellen, prüfen Sie diefolgenden Punkte:

• Kontrollieren Sie in den Bluetooth®Einstellungen des Endgerätes, ob HamaKEY4ALL X510 verbunden ist. Wennnicht, wiederholen Sie die unter 6.1.Bluetooth® Erstverbindung genanntenSchritte.

• Kontrollieren Sie, ob Hindernisse dieReichweite beeinträchtigen. Wennja, positionieren Sie die Geräte näherzueinander.

5. Mise en service

Avertissement concernant les piles

• Retirez immédiatement les piles usagéesdu produit pour les recycler.

• Utilisez exclusivement des batteries (oudes piles) du type indiqué.

• N’utilisez pas simultanément des pilesusagées et des piles neuves ou des pilesde différents types.

• Respectez impérativement la polaritédes piles (indications + et -) lors deleur insertion dans le boîtier. Risquesd‘écoulement et d‘explosion des piles sitel n‘est pas le cas.

• Ne tentez pas de recharger des piles àusage unique.

• Conservez les piles hors de portée desenfants.

• Ne court-circuitez pas les batteries/piles etéloignez-les des objets métalliques.

• Ouvrez le compartiment à piles (4), insérez deuxpiles LR03/AAA conformément aux indications depolarité, puis refermez le compartiment (4).

• La LED d’état de connexion Bluetooth / capacitéde batterie (1) se met à clignoter en bleu pendantl’utilisation du clavier en cas de piles faibles.Remplacez les piles sans tarder comme décritplus haut.

6. Fonctionnement

Remarque

• Les fonctions décrites dans ce chapitre sontdisponibles uniquement sur des appareilscompatibles Bluetooth.

• Veuillez noter que la portée maximale de laconnexion Bluetooth est de 10 mètres sansobstacles tels que cloisons, personnes, etc.

6.1 Première connexion Bluetooth® (couplage)

• Placez le bouton [OFF/ON] (2) sur ON afin demettre le clavier Bluetooth® sous tension. -La LED d’état de connexion Bluetooth® / capacitéde batterie (1) clignote en bleu.

• Maintenez la touche [CONNECT] (3) enfoncéejusqu’à ce que la LED d’état de connexionBluetooth® / capacité de batterie (1) se metteà clignoter en bleu en permanence. Le clavierrecherche une connexion Bluetooth®.

• Ouvrez le menu des paramètres Bluetooth® survotre appareil, puis patientez jusqu’à ce quel’appareil Hama KEY4ALL X510 apparaisse dansla liste des appareils Bluetooth® détectés.

• Sélectionnez Hama KEY4ALL X510, suivezéventuellement les instructions de votre appareil,puis patientez jusqu’à ce que le clavier apparaisseen tant que connecté dans les réglages Bluetooth®de votre appareil. La LED d’état de connexionBluetooth® / capacité de batterie (1) s’éteint.

• Vous pouvez maintenant utiliser votre clavierBluetooth®.

6.2 Connexion Bluetooth® automatique(après un premier couplage réussi)

Remarque concernant unemauvaise qualité de connexion

Après une première connexion conforme,les connexions suivantes sont établiesautomatiquement. Vérifiez les points suivantsdans le cas où la connexion Bluetooth® nes’établit pas automatiquement :• Vérifiez, dans les paramètres Bluetooth® devotre appareil, que Hama KEY4ALL X510est bien connecté. Répétez les étapesdécrites sous 6.1. Première connexionBluetooth® si tel n’est pas le cas.

• Vérifiez la présence d’obstaclessusceptibles de réduire la portée.Rapprochez les appareils l’un de l’autre enprésence d’obstacles de ce type.

6.3 Changement de système d’exploitationLe clavier Hama KEY4ALL X510 prend trois systèmesd’exploitation en charge. Vous pouvez utiliserles combinaisons de touches suivantes afin desélectionner le système d’exploitation souhaité :• fn + Q pour Apple iOS• fn + W pour Android• fn + E pour Windows

6.5 Mode veille et mise hors tension• Le clavier se met automatiquement en mode veilleaprès une période d‘inactivité de 15 minutes.

• Appuyez sur n’importe quelle touche afin deréactiver le clavier.
