Important Notices

BEFORE YOU START

A). Remove any Microsoft native driver.

B). Please remove any previous version of Widcomm Bluetooth software existing in your system. The remove procedures are as follows:

Step 1: Click Start/Settings, then select Control Panel.

Step 2: In the Control Panel window, double click Add/Remove programs icon.

Step 3: Find out the item Widcomm Bluetooth Software x.x.x.x then remove it.

INSTALLING WIDCOMM DRIVER

The following steps tell you how to install the Widcomm driver.

Step 1:

Put Widcomm Driver CD into CDdrive of your PC, an AutoInstallprogram will start to guide you tocomplete the installation step by step.

You also can find Setup.exe fromthe given Widcomm Driver CD ordownloaded driver files and doubleclick on it to install WidcommBluetooth Software. It opens theInstallShield Wizard dialog box, thenclick Next.

Step 2:

Accept the software licenseagreement. Click Next.

Step 4:

Click Install to start theinstallation.

Step 6:

Click OK to ignore un-signed driver warning.

Step 3:

Select destination folder, you can choose the default orchange to your favorite.

Step 7: If Bluetooth dongle is plugged in your PC now, this screen will not be displayed. If NOT, then it will show up.

Step 8: Installation is complete .My Bluetooth Places (*) should appear on your desktop and asimilar icon also appears on thelower right corner of your screen.You can double click (*) on desk-top or right click (*) on the lowerright corner of your screen, thenclick Explore My Bluetooth Placesmenu to start My BluetoothPlaces program.

One reminding window will show upto ask you to PLUG IN Bluetooth USB adapter.Plug in your USB adapter if it hasnot been plugged in before.Click OK to continue.

Step 9:

Click START -> Settings. Select Control Panel. Select System. Select Device Manager ->Hardware. In Bluetooth Radios, you can find anew Widcomm driver: Broadcom USB Bluetooth Device.

Select Bluetooth Services When the first time Widcomm driver is installed, and USB Bluetooth Dongle is plugged to yoursystem, you can configure your Bluetooth services for your system.

Step 1:

Double-click on the (*) bluetooth icon on the lower-right corner of the screen, you will see configuration wizard, Click Next button.

Step 2:

Assign computer nameand specify computer type, and then click Next button. These can be customer defined.

Step 3:

Click Next button to configure Bluetooth services.

Step 5: Click Skip.

Step 4: The default setting is thatall services are available, you cancheck or uncheck one or moreservices, then click Next button.

Step 6: Configuration is completed. Click Finish.

Bevor Sie beginnen

A). Entfernen Sie alle Windows-eigenen Treiber

WIDCOMM-Treiber Installieren

Die folgenden Schritte beschreiben die Installation des Widcomm-Treibers:

Schritt 1:

Legen Sie die Widcomm Treiber-CD in Ihr CD-ROM-Laufwerk. Ein automatisch startendes Installprogram fhrt Sie Schritt fr Schritt durch die Installation.

Um die Widcomm Bluetooth-Software zu installieren knnen Sie auch auch alternativ die Datei Setup.exe von der Treiber-CD oder aus einer aus dem Internet heruntergeladenen Treiberdatei starten. Dies ffnet die Dialogbox des InstallShield Wizard. Klicken Sie dann auf Weiter.

Schritt 2: Akzeptieren Sie die Software- Lizenzbedingungen und klicken Sie dann auf Weiter.

Schritt 4: Um die Installation zu starten klicken Sie auf Installieren.

Schritt 3: Whlen Sie einen Zielordner aus. Sie knnen die Vorgabe beibehalten oder einen von Ihnen gewnschten Ordner whlen.

Schritt 7: Falls ein Bluetooth-Dongle in Ihren PC eingesteckt ist, so wird dieses Fenster nicht angezeigt. FALLS NICHT, so wird es erscheinen.

Schritt 8: Nachdem die Installation beendet ist sollte Meine Bluetooth-Orte auf Ihrem Desktop erscheinen, und in der unteren rechten Ecke Ihres Bildschirms werden Sie ein hnliches Icon sehen. ffnen Sie mit einem Doppelklick auf das Desktop-Icon oder einem Rechtklick auf das Icon rechts unten das Men und whlen Sie bitte Meine Bluetooth-Orte erkunden.

Ein Hinweisfenster wird Sie auffordern, Ihren Bluetooth USB-Adapter einzustecken. Falls er nicht schon vorher eingesteckt wurde, so stecken Sie ihn bitte ein. Klicken Sie auf OK um fortzufahren.

Schritt 9:

Klicken Sie auf START -> Einstellungen. Whlen Sie Systemsteuerung und dann System. Whlen Sie im Gertemanager Hardware aus. Unter Bluetooth-Radios werden Sie einen neuen Widcomm-Treiber finden: Broadcom USB Bluetooth Device.

Bluetooth-Dienste auswhlen

Wenn der Widcomm-Treiber zum ersten mal installiert wurde und ein USB Bluetooth-Dongle mit Ihrm System verbunden ist, so knnen Sie den Bluetooth-Dienst fr Ihr System konfigurieren.

Schritt 1:

Doppelklicken auf das Bluetooth-Icon in der unteren rechten Ecke Ihres Bildschirms. Whlen Sie im Konfigurations-Assistenten Weiter.

Schritt 2:

Whlen Sie einen Computernamen und den Computertyp und klicken Sie auf Weiter. Diese sind frei definierbar.

Um die Bluetooth-Dienste zu konfigurieren klicken Sie auf Weiter.

Nota Importante

ANTES DE COMENZAR

A). Elimine cualquier driver nativo de Microsoft.

B). Elimine por favor cualquier versin previa de software Widcomm Bluetooth que pueda existir en tu sistema. El procedimiento para eliminar es el siguiente:

Paso 1: Haga Click en Start/Settings. Luego seleccione Control Panel.

INSTALANDO EL DRIVER WIDCOMM

Los pasos siguientes dicen cmo instalar el driver Widcomm.

Paso 1:

Inserte el CD del Driver Widcomm en el drive de tu PC. El programa de autoinstalacin te guiar para completar la instalacin paso por paso.

Tambin puedes hayar Setup.exe en el CD del driver Widcomm o los archivos del driver descargados y haga doble en l para instalar el Software Bluetooth Widcomm. Se abre la ventana de dialogo Install Shield Wizard, luego haga clicken Next.

Paso 2:

Acepta el acuerdo de licencia de software. Haga Click en Next.

Paso 4:

Haga cick en Install para iniciar la instalacin.

Paso 6:

Haga click en OK para ignorar los avisos de drivers que no pasen la prueba.

Paso 3:

Selecciona la carpeta de destino; puedes escoger por defecto o cambiar a una de tu preferencia.

Paso 7: Si el dongle Bluetooth se conecta en este momento, esta ventana no ser despegada. Si no se conecta, entonces la misma ser mostrada.

Paso 9:

Haga click en START -> Settings. Selecciona Control Panel. Selecciona System. Selecciona Device Manager ->Hardware. En Bluetooth Radios, puedes encontrar un driver Widcomm nuevo: Broadcom USB Bluetooth Device.

Una ventana de recordatorio se abrir para pedir que conectes (PLUG IN) el dongle Bluetooth USB. Conecte su adapatdor USB, si no lo has conectado. Haga click en OK para continuar. Paso 8:

La instalacin se ha completado. My Bluetooth Places (*) aparece en tu PC y un cono tambin aparece en la esquina inferior derecha de tu pantalla. Puedes hacer doble click (*) en desk-top o click derecho (*) en la esquina inferior derecha, luego click en el men Explore My Bluetooth Places para inciar el programa My BluetoothPlaces.

Seleccionar Servicios Bluetooth

Cuando se instala el driver Widcomm por primera vez, y el dongle USB Bluetooth se conecta al sistema, puedes configurar servicios de Bluetooth en tu sistema.

Paso 2:

Asigna el nombre de Computadora y especifica el tipo de PC; luego haga click en el botn Next. Estos pueden ser definido spor el cliente.

Paso 3:

Haga click en el botn Next para configurar lo servicios de Bluetooth.

Paso 1:

Haga doble click en el cono bluetooth* de la esquina inferior derecha de tu pantalla. Vers el men de configuracin. Haga click en Next.
