THE BRIEFBluesky Performance are a subsidiary of Capita the UK's leading provider of business process management and integrated professional support service solutions. Bluesky offer bespoke global learning & development behavioural change programmes that help blue chip organisations shift their performance that delivers across their bottom line.

They were looking to develop their digital presence but were struggling to adapt to changing market conditions, the main reason for this was the limitations of their current platform and digital strategy.

Their current platform was not mobile user friendly and was not even built onto a CMS platform meaning that all amends/changes required development to process, really not good for a B2B business that needs to adapt quickly and effectively.

Research & InsightsI felt that this was a good opportunity for the business to focus on it users and target markets as well as assessing it social media relevance from third-party through traffic.

In order to feed this into the website design and development process we felt that there were a number of key initial steps, these included:

Digital DevelopmentAfter reviewing research and insights it was seen as a viable to progress with scoping the development of a new responsive website platform. The proposed process was broken into two phases for ease on workload-input meeting the client’s requirements.

THE BENEFITSUser Centred DesignBeing a people business it makes perfect sense that this taking a user centres approach for any development would ensure that the site maintained its position of B2B lead generation as well as a hub for a future community based social project. Building the platform around intuitive research would ensure that the users journey was kept an absolute priority whilst retaining as much content customisation as possible.
