Aswithallinsurance,therearesomeimportantpointsyoushouldknowbeforeenteringintoacontract.Inthissection,weidentifysomekeyPolicyprovisions.

1. Yourcoveragebeginsthirty(30)daysafterthedateshownonyourPolicy.However,youalreadyhaveimmediatecoverageforaccidentalinjury.

2. Apre-existingconditionisadisabilityorillnesswhichexistedbeforethecommencementofcover.Theexistenceofapre-existingconditioncanbeclinicallydeterminedgivenitsnaturalhistory,irrespectiveofwhetherornottheinsuredisawareoftheillnessorcondition.Providingcoverforapre-existingconditionissubjecttoevaluationbyourMedicalDirector,andifitisexcludedfromcoverwewillnotifytheinsuredaccordingly.

3. WhileyourPolicyisissuedinthePhilippines,itprovidescoveragewhenyouareoverseasforanunlimitednumberoftrips.However,pleasenotethatthemaximumperiodofcoverisfor90dayspertriponly.Beyondthat,yourplanwillbesubjecttoadditionalpremium.Ifyouresideoverseas,pleaseadviseusasyourpremiummayneedtobeadjusted.

4. Certainconditionsarepermanentlyexcludedfrombeingcovered.Theseconditionsinclude:• Congenitalconditions,birthdefectandabnormalities• Cosmeticsurgeryorrelatedcomplications,contactlenses,hearingaidsandprescriptionsthereof,exceptthosethatmayberequiredforreconstructivesurgery

• Suicide,attemptedsuicideorintentionalself-inflictedinjury• Pre-existingconditionsunlesssuchhavebeendeclaredandapprovedbytheCompany• AcquiredImmuneDeficiencySyndrome(AIDS),AidsRelatedComplex(ARC),andSexuallyTransmittedDis-eases(STDs)
