HOUSEHOLD BATTERIES• Place A, AA, AAA, C, D and 9-volt batteries in a clear zip-lock bag.• Place on top of your blue recyclables cart on collection day.

USED MOTOR OIL AND OIL FILTERS• Contain motor oil in a 1-gallon plastic container with screw top lid.• Contain oil filter in an appropriately sized ziplock bag.• Ensure motor oil jug and ziplock bag are sealed tightly.• Place on the curb near your recycling cart for collection.• You may recycle up to 2 gallons of motor oil per week. • Request a free container and ziplock bag by calling our office.

CURBSIDE CLEAN-UPS BY APPOINTMENT• Available beginning January 1, 2018• Twice per year collection of extra waste, large items, and electronic waste, free of charge. • A total of 4 cubic yards of material to include 2 cubic yards of trash, one large reusable item, and one electronic waste item or similar combination.• Examples of large items include non-reusable refrigerators, furniture, mattresses.• Call us to schedule your clean-up.

NO HAZARDOUS WASTEHazardous items like pesticides, fertilizers, pool and photo chemicals, paint/varnish, toxic cleaning products, smoke detectors, mercury-containing items (thermometers, CFLs/fluorescent lights, etc.) unwanted medications, and sharps (needles, lancets, etc.) need to be taken to a hazardous waste collection facility. REMEMBER• Place your carts out with wheels against the curb prior to 6am on your service day.• Leave 3 feet of space between your carts if possible.• Do not overload your carts - make sure the lids fully close• Avoid tightly packing materials inside your carts
